Review Time
BEWARE - this company just keeps stalling my attempts at a refund. They appear to be a fraud! No real customer service. Web site say easy returns within 90 days. THIS IS A LIE!
I saw an ad for EvoComfort ortho boots on Facebook. I went to their website directly and it looked promising. I recall doing a Google search to check if the company was legit or not, and I thought for some reason it was. Even though after the purchase when I repeated that search it came up with multiple negative reviews. So I purchased the correct size, the high tech traction soles. There were 2 overly kind and welcoming emails once the order was placed. When the product arrived, it was extremely light weight. When I tried it one, the soles were rock hard and concave with no arch support and my toes were painfully cramped. I waited a few weeks to try them out with the first snow/ice storm. Disappointed, their traction was same or slightly worse than the boots I currently wear. I would NOT be comfortable walking in them on the slippery snow/ice surface, thus I opted to use my current boots which gave some traction and safety. When I emailed EvoComfort I got a fast upbeat reply from "Mia" offering an immediate exchange to a different size. I declined as the quality, traction and fit were not satisfactory (as I stated in the initial email). I asked for a refund and was told that this request would have to go to another rep. 24+ hrs later "Lee Cherry" emailed offering a 30% refund and no need to return the boots. I replied this was contrary to the return policy on their website which offered full refund with product returned in good condition in the orig. packing. Next email offered a 70% refund saying this was the most generous offer available. I realized I was dealing with a scam company which doesn't stand by their product, customer satisfaction, and refund policy stated on their website. I accepted their 70% refund knowing I was only recouping part of my purchase price. They sent a customer service survey so I let them have the truth of what I thought about their false refund policy. Shortly thereafter "Lee Cherry" sends a final email offering a full refund! Go figure. So this company seems to honor their posted refund policy only for customers that force the issue or complain. It's no wonder they rather send you another size shoe rather than grant a refund. The product is sub-standard and no better on snow/ice than a regular high quality boot of another brand. Do not do business with this company. A mistake I learned from .
The size chart is designed for men, even though the advertisements are aimed at women. You need to refer to the EU sizes; their size 9 corresponds to EU 43, which is a men's size. When I commented on their ad for clarification (having previously lost $27 with another company due to a similar issue), the service did not provide an answer but instead reported my profile to the platform for 'phishing,' resulting in a 7-day suspension.
This service misrepresents its refund policy. The shoes I received were far too large and wouldn't close properly. Despite multiple emails, I received no reply. Eventually, I was told I'd only get thirty percent of my payment back. Their supposed ninety-day guarantee is completely misleading. I advise against ordering from them.
If I could give zero stars, I would. This is an absolute scam. The size chart is inaccurate; I ordered a women's 10.5 but received a 46 EU size, equivalent to about a size 13 or 14. It took three emails just to get a response regarding a return. They claimed it was my mistake for ordering a 10.5, which is incorrect! They also stated I would need to cover the return shipping to another country. No thanks. I'll be donating the item and leaving this review instead. What a waste of money!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This is a complete scam. Their size chart is inaccurate; I ordered a women's 10.5, but received a 46 EU size, which is about a size 13 or 14. It took three emails just to get a response about returning them. They blamed me for the mistake, insisting I pay for shipping back to another country. I'll be donating them and leaving this review instead. What a waste of money!
My order took a long time to arrive, and when it did, I was dissatisfied with the quality for the price. I emailed their customer service for a refund as instructed on their website. I received one reply asking for more details, which I provided promptly. Since then, I've heard nothing. I don't want to be stuck with nearly $200 in cheap shoes and socks. I could have bought better elsewhere. What kind of operation are they running?
I had a similar experience to many others - the boots were too large and poorly made with no ankle support. The only responses from the service were more sales pitches. They inquired about my return reason, so I know someone is monitoring inquiries. The return address is in another country, and I've requested a local return address multiple times. I'm not paying to send them overseas, so I'm contacting my credit card company to dispute the charge. Avoid this seller!
This site seems like a scam with no way to return the poorly made boots. I regret falling for the online ads. They took weeks to arrive and had a strong glue smell when I opened the package. They seem to be targeting older customers with misleading advertising. I suspect the positive reviews are fake. I'm filing a complaint with my credit card company, but I fear I've lost $119. They do not offer 'easy returns,' and the boots are of terrible quality. Please don't repeat my mistake and buy from this seller.
