I've just returned from my third adventure with Chasing Summits, and I'm already planning the next. The trip to Mount Toubkal surpassed all expectations. From the moment we booked, Nic's communication was friendly, organized, and prompt. She personally greeted us at the airport, and everything thereafter was flawlessly executed. The guides were outstanding – knowledgeable, supportive, and ensured our safety, especially during the summit ascent in the early morning hours. Their encouragement was vital in helping us reach the top, and the sunrise views from the summit were unforgettable. The food was an unexpected delight – absolutely incredible at both the lodge and on the mountain, with fresh, delicious meals served high up on Toubkal! We were well supplied with snacks, drinks, and energy. I can't recommend Nic and her team highly enough.
This is my third mountain adventure with Chasing Summits, and I'll definitely book more! Communication from the moment of booking was excellent, with Nic meeting us at the airport, leading us straight to an air-conditioned taxi to Imlil, where we stayed in a very authentic, clean Moroccan lodge before and after the trek. The food at the lodge (and even more impressively, on the mountain) was incredible, with three courses served three times a day plus snacks and drinks. Staying at the refuge was an experience, to say the least, but added to the overall adventure. The guides were attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring we felt safe and cared for, especially during the summit ascent and descent. Reaching the summit was breathtaking! Nobody does it quite like Nic; the only regret you'll have is not booking sooner! We are already planning our next trip to Everest Base Camp with Chasing Summits for 2026, and we can't wait. This experience exceeded my expectations in every way. Nic, Cal, and Stu were incredibly supportive and motivational. I struggled significantly, but Nic helped me push through, even when I felt like giving up after 20 minutes on Nevis. Our group had 14 out of 17 complete the National 3 Peaks in 23 hours and 17 minutes or less (including me). Nic tailored her approach to our strengths and weaknesses and took us on at the last minute when we were let down by another company (the best thing that could have happened). The previous company was booked for months, and there was no pre-challenge buzz, but once Nic was on board, she was active in the WhatsApp group, creating excitement and answering questions. We faced challenging weather and emotional moments, but if anyone is looking to take on a challenge, I would recommend Chasing Summits without hesitation. The coordination was excellent, well worth the investment, allowing us to focus solely on completing the challenge.
I completed the National 3 Peaks challenge with Nic and the team on September 13th-14th, and it was an amazing experience! I hadn't considered doing it until recently, but I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone considering the challenge and Chasing Summits for the necessary support and guidance! The organization was impeccable, and we received constant positive encouragement to keep us motivated, allowing our group to complete the challenge in 23 hours and 20 minutes (or even less for some!).
What can I say? We had an incredible adventure with Chasing Summits! Just returned from the Inca Trail and Rainbow Mountains, and from start to finish, it was amazing. The team was fantastic, the food during the trek was brilliant, and the entire experience was one of the best of my life! You need a good level of fitness and determination, but you'll have the time of your life.
I usually avoid posting negative reviews, but I feel compelled to share this experience to help others avoid similar unpleasant situations and save money. Back in October 2023, I booked the N3P challenge with this company, thankfully only making a deposit. The person running the company seemed genuinely nice over the phone, assuring me that essential details like the training plan would be sent. However, all I received was a receipt for my deposit payment. As the event date approached, I reached out to inquire about the remaining payment and the promised information. I received a reply telling me not to worry and that I'd be reminded eight weeks before the challenge to make my final payment. Weeks passed without any communication, leaving me anxious. When I contacted her four weeks before the event, I received a surprising response about her emotional instability. This left me taken aback. Eager to complete the challenge, I sought an alternative company and secured a slot. Now, efforts to contact her for a refund have been met with silence. During the N3P challenge with a different company, I met someone who had also booked with her and paid in full upfront but never heard from her again. My advice is to steer clear of this company to avoid losing your money.
Wow! We recently took on the National Three Peaks Challenge with Nic as our guide, and it was an incredible experience! From the start, Nic's impeccable organization and leadership ensured we were always in the right place at the right time. She was patient yet firm, coaxing us up and down the mountains.
