Review Time
Firstly I would stress that if I was marking the Solicitor I dealt with this review would be a 5. Unfortunately the solicitor I was dealing with for my case (divorce) was away from the Lincoln office unexpectedly and suddenly. I fully understand this happens and it is unfortunate and out of the businesses hands. My disappointment is that despite phone calls and emails from the 5th November which clearly state the time constraints I was up against I have had no response from another solicitor in the firm. I was promised this would happen by a Trainee Paralegal and its been complete radio silence. I have spent a considerable amount of money for my current circumstances and to be simply ignored is unacceptable. I have been forced to appoint a new solicitor at additional cost due to running through my case again and the subsequent follow up meetings.
Chattertons' financial adviser Neil Gumley has worked hard to sort out the best way to take my two private pensions and make the most of them following redundancy. My wife andI have regular very useful meetings with him and he always has a great deal of patience explaining things as I'm not very good with money.
