I regret not checking reviews prior. We needed an emergency plumber and called a representative. We managed to fix the issue before they arrived but had to pay the call-out fee. They then tried to charge for an hour of work despite not providing any service. They insisted on a bank transfer even though we preferred to pay by card or invoice (as we are a business). They wouldn’t disclose the business name and forced us to transfer to a personal account. I’ve been trying to get a receipt for proof. Nothing. Just avoid.
They completed the required work, which was quite simple, yet charged a high fee for just ten minutes of work. The experience was unprofessional overall. As others have suggested, ask for a cost upfront—charging a 'normal' rate plus an additional charge for the assistant for such a short job feels like a scam. Nothing about the experience felt professional.
