Review Time
I enjoyed my time in the course. The only drawback for me is the difficulty to travel and meet with peers to carry out the practice hours. I'm not sure that there's a way around thar other than to do it all online however, I understand why it is set up in such a way.
Initially, I had some reservations about beginning a new year with a demanding course, but the energy and flow of the first session were just right. The instructor captivated everyone’s attention with ease, and I think this boosted our confidence significantly.
Our tutor was exceptional! Supportive, knowledgeable, and personable, he made the learning experience truly enjoyable. The assessments felt a bit overwhelming towards the end of the course, so a bit more balance would have been appreciated throughout the year.
The program provides only a basic overview of pluralistic counseling, and the promised support for placements is mostly absent. I received no real assistance in finding a placement, and when I secured one myself, the feedback was inconsistent. The overall experience was frustrating due to limited course content and lack of reliable support, especially regarding placements.
