Excellent, friendly staff and an awesome environment. The equipment is top quality and there’s plenty of it, so no waiting around. I did Aaron’s HIIT class this morning — his calm approach during the warm-up really eased me in, then he switched gears with some serious coaching energy. The music kept me locked in the whole time. Exactly what I needed!
Palmerston North has two great locations: the newer kelvin grove and the established pitt street boasting different opportunities. I was advised to start my fitness journey at the pitt street club for it's group classes to which I have not regretted. Meeting long standing members is a testament to the high quality of service that the management team provides. I have witnessed the club itself develop to a higher level while still retaining the essence of a traditional gym.
Over 10 years never been let down.The staff are always happy and helpful.Clean and maintained facilities, when a piece of equipment has broken its always repaired quickly.Best place to blow off steam and keep in shape Not only has this place helped me recover physically from injury and surgery but also has helped my mental health.
Great gym. Good classes on offer. Love the Abundance studio and all that offers. Excited for the upcoming reformer room, would be great to have reformer only classes again.Dislike the cage door to get in, and being locked out of areas of the gym despite being a premium card holder outside of hours.
Kelvin grove Palmy pilates class are great if you can get in. there is space for more reformers please get them. 6 is not enough. Can the mobile app also be sorted, it lets members book even when they are not premium, it errors when class opens & so many trying to book. The notifications when a space becomes available can take mins or hours to show. A more fair way would be to book in the 7th person who missed out, they got 2hrs to accept then it goes to the next person & so on. The app is glitchie & needs work. The pilates instructors we have are awesome, need more classes especially Sunday.
