I'm rather pleased with Citylight Publishers book cover design. The crew listened to my needs and was a pleasure to deal with. They ensured I was happy with the outcome and made adjustments when I requested them. The cover fits my book wonderfully and has a polished appearance. I'm happy I decided to use these for my cover art.

I'm rather with the way my book cover turned out overall thanks to my collaboration with citylightpublishers.com. After hearing my suggestions the team produced a design that perfectly embodies the book's concept. A few minor edits were required but they were handled expertly and the finished cover was polished. Excellent communication and a satisfying encounter.

I started with Citylight in September…

I started with Citylight in September 2025. I sent my info to Joe. I couldn't understand his accent, so I get a call from Jack. Communications became sparse and I would have to repeatedly call for status. Finally, January my final draft is ready to publish. Then, Jack says I need to pay $5000 for printing. After consideration, I did. Then, Sam calls and said the last step is to Pay $4900 for customer payment insurance??? I explained I couldn't pay another dime and he started pressuring me. I have filed a fraud claim against them with my credit card carrier and my book has gone nowhere. No one should pay a penny up front. Check out KDPAMAZON OR DRAFTTODIGITAL. No Fees!!!!

Published a book

Published a book, with several mistakes by the company corrected. Finally, after numerous attempts for them to sell the book via Walmart, which I refused, they gave me a price for authors copies. I would rec 200 books for $2000. I knew it would talke about 3 weeks to get the first shipment of 50, and was told after that shipment, future shipments would be weekly. I rec'd the 1st 50 and the cover was not saleable, they cut the authors name in half at the bottom. I complained and a week later rec'f 50 with the correct cover. I was told to keep the rejected books to do with as I wished. I donated them to foster children. After the holidays, I had not rec'd anymore books. I called and emailed, with litttle or no replies. Finally, on the 5th of Jan. I was called by the rep. He hoped I would be understanding, and we would get another shipment of 50, but not the remaining 100. They would give me marketing instead? He said I had rec'd 100 books including the rejects. I told him I was not going to pay $500 for unsaleable books. So, if I get another 50, I am out $1000. I am writing this review, so others are aware of their incompetance.
