Cologuard has the worst customer service. I called to cancel an order because my provider didn't include the full address. The person who was chatted with me was rude, she didn't change the address and didn't cancel the order. My provider requested to cancel the order and they sent notification that box is ready for UPS pick up. This company is the worst.
No disclosure to me by Cologuard of the cost of the test or its unreliability when I agreed to do it after my doctor prescribed it. After being blitzes with texts from Cologuard saying I had to complete it, I completed it. I immediately thought better of it after reading about its false positives and called the Cologuard customer service line. First two calls went to what appeared to be an offshore center. Third was answered by a rep with good English and aggressive attitude who said my doctor could try to cancel the test but it might not be possible.
This test is absurd. It's possible to get false positives and negatives. It's hard to believe they have medical professionals backing them, suggesting that regardless of the outcomes, the money keeps flowing. I received two positive results before undergoing a colonoscopy, and guess what...nothing was found. Shocking, right? What a complete waste of time. If you're considering a colonoscopy, go ahead, but don't trust this nonsense from the service.
I had a positive ColoGuard and they also said I have cancer. Its all bull shit. I had a colonoscopy and my results were not what ColoGuard said they were. I was also told they always throw false positive result even when there are hemorroids present which throws it off also. So anyone doing the ColoGuard at home remember the results are NOT ACCURATE until you have a colonoscopy. This company needs to be put out of service for the false information their test results show because they are not accurate. If i wasn't a very nice person and had different results I'd find me a damn good lawyer and sue the shit out of this company for false reporting. I will never have another one done because they cannot read between hemmoriods and and cancer results. So I will no longer be using this bull shit test ever.
So my doctor ordered a Cologuard kit for me about 2 weeks ago. The following day I get an email from them saying they shipped it. OK but not too happy my doctor gave them my email address. The next day there's another email with instructions, then two more the following day. Starting to annoy me a lot. Then they start test messaging me. WTF!!!! Now they've actually CALLED me on my cell phone 3 days in a row including on the weekend. WTF is wrong with these aholes??? I havrn't sent in the kit yet so they have no &^%$* reason to be harrassing me on a daily basis.
I got this package without being informed it was coming, so it was delivered in the rain. The box got wet, ams since it's meant to be reused to mail back the poop sample, this was a problem. I tried using the collection container, but the edge of the bowl dug very painfully into my butt, and I wasn't able to do my business because of it. The lid is made to screw on, so that it causes the bowl's surface to be extra sharp. Unless the user has a completely stick figure butt, there is no way for it to not cut into your skin, suspended on the holder it comes with. There is also no way to wipe yourself with this thing in the way, so you need to stand up and drip everywhere. What a painful mess! Maybe this would work for a toddler. I ended up. Having to trash the whole thing. Did the designers of this even try using it? Surely I'm not the only one who had this experience.
Cologuard is trashing Cologuard kits. Claiming no fesces in container shipped by me to Cologuard for evaluation. That's not true.Cologuard sent me a replacement Kit for the alledged empty kit. I explained Cologuard they put the first kit in garbage claiming it was empty ...That's not true.I called. I was sent another Cologuard kit. I no longer trust Cologuards honesty. Accents too heavy to understand when speaking to them. I reported this to Medicare. Didn't seem to care either. Wants me to talk to another physician?This is my last Colonoscopy of 3 over 49 years.
Was shipped a kit without request. The Cologuard letter was written to sound like my doctor ordered it. In fact, my doctor did not! I called Colorguard and the customer service rep attempted to say the same thing, until I told her I had checked with my doctor. Very disappointing way to create business. One of the many reasons health insurance in so high!
