I registered with UCUK, signed the contract and did my bit. When it came to sending my client the timesheet, absolute crickets. No response for weeks on end, but just one employee saying they're chasing the team to get back to me.
This is absolutely ridiculous and highly unprofessional.
If they don't want to work with smaller contractors who do not have million pound retnaiers, then they should just say so.
I do not understand the need to insult people by ghosting them. If this is a payroll company or a 16-year-old boy on Tinder, I can't tell.
