Cynosure is trying to bill and collect for an item I did not order. I was sent the wrong thing and now after 22 months are demanding payment for an item that does not match the description of my signed contract. August 30,2021 I signed a contract for a near new hair removal laser. I paid cynosure $57,175.00 with two credit cards. I received a laser on October 1,2021. The laser that I was delivered was refurbished and it had a different sierial number than the contract I signed. I promptly objected to the acceptance of the laser. This is a breeched contract. The sales rep refused to take it back, give me what I signed for or even give me a discount. I called my two credit card companies and submitted a charge back. December 1,3021 I paid $980.00 to return the laser I did not order. The company legal department refused delivery. The laser was not improper working order as it would not hold water. The company wanted to send someone out to fix it I said no. The sales rep offered it to me for $40,000 and I told him I would not pay $20,000. I told them that the property was abandoned and that I would start to charge them $10.00 a day for storage. In March 2022 my second charge back of $45,000.00 finally came back in my favor. I received one call from Cynosure accountant. I explained that the contract was breeched and for the 6th time I offered them to come and get there laser. I never heard anything from the company until June 7,2023- 15 month later! I received a call from accounting followed by a statement. The next day I get 2 calls from a 3rd party collections agency threatening legal action. This was followed by a letter demanding $57,175.00. Cynosure will stop at nothing to destroy my credit.
Absolutely awful. They looked us dead in the face and said we will be with you every step of the way. And when time came to ask for help in selling our laser due to our technician moving out of state, they ghosted us. Turns out their ware ties don't transfer so no one buys used lasers and if they do its for 70% below what you paid. Took absolute advantage of us and lied directly to our face.
Cynosure's one of the biggest scam. We purchased a sculpsure machine. The sale person lied about the interests rate and with my perfect credit I ended up paying 18 percent rate on this 5 year lease. The customer service is probably the most useless lazy staff I ever seem. Overall we ended up scammed for over $235,000 for a machine cannot generate any sales during pandemic. I presume many other physicians who are in the same boat would love to start another class action lawsuit against Cynosure
The Cynosure rep gave us a presentation at lunch on the computer, no brochures or actual information given. The next day he came by to give us details on the equipment and the fast talking but very nice sales guy gave us the high pressure its a today ONLY deal. Do NOT fall for this quick pressure sale !!!
Do NOT purchase ANY products from Cynosure! Fast talking salespeople are only concerned about making a sale and they WILL say anything to close the deal. They told us we would be the “only people in our area to have the technology” - lie. They told us we would be able to use the product “immediately” - lie. We needed additional training, we paid, no one was available. Yes, shame on us for not being good consumers, but shame on them for being such scammers. Do not make the same mistake!
Our companies experience with Cynosure has been terrible from the minute we handed over a check for $75k for a device that was deceitful marketed. We were approached by two fast talking salesmen who claimed that the device could treat acne scarring and hyperpigmentation in ALL skin types. It was not until after the device was delivered and during training that we were told that it could bot be used in darker skin tones to treat hyperpigmentation. We contacted their legal team who basically blew us off. Their higher ups were rude and disrespectful and their post sales support was even worse. We have not seen a support rep in our office for years now and getting one to show up is impossible. After the sale and with some more research we found other stories of shady Cynosure salespeople. If you're thinking of buying one of their products, please don't. They can change their name to Hologic or whatever they want but it's still the same management and scumbags that are running the show. Google their devices and see how many class action lawsuits there are against the company for false claims. They're are the worst and I would advise everyone to steer clear.
