This is the second time that I send the money, but to the receiver is not given the amount I have sent. In fact, today 09/01/2026,I made a money transfer and my receiver was to get 1 million in local currency as conveined when I initiated the transfer and paid everything. I was surprised to hear that they are giving him 998k and that some additional coins were refused to him under pretence of not having coins at the outlet. The very disappointing issue is the fact that, at LA BONNE ADRESSE/KIGALI DAHABSHILL MAIN BRACH, the cashier ( whom I have the name but don't want to publish it here) made the money beneficiary sign a receipt on which is written that they give him a full million whereas they are giving him another amount .Truly speaking, this is a very poor service that I never neither experienced nor expected in dahabshill since I started working with it.Imagine if everyday about 4 persons undergo the same robbery, how much money will be stolen from customers in a whole month?Please Dahabshill, review your working terms and outlets'business values as we used to know you.

My Experience with Dahabshiil (Warning to Others)I would like to share my experience with Dahabshiil, which I used to send money to my family and friends in Somaliland. I have used money transfer services before and never faced any serious issues. Unfortunately, my experience with the Dahabshiil mobile application was a nightmare.On December 23, 2025, I sent money through the Dahabshiil app to my cousin in Hargeisa. The amount was deducted from my bank account, but the money never reached the recipient.I tried to resolve the issue by: • Chatting with their customer support • Visiting several Dahabshiil branches in HargeisaHowever, no one helped me properly. I was repeatedly told to “wait” while they contacted a third party to decide what to do. I waited more than three weeks, but nothing was resolved and no clear communication was provided.Eventually, I had no choice but to contact my bank and request a cancellation and reversal of the transaction.This experience was extremely frustrating and disappointing. Dahabshiil showed very poor customer service, lack of responsibility, and no urgency in resolving a serious issue involving customers’ money.I hope others will be cautious before trusting this service again.
I use this company all the time very good service also customer service excellent. I had one time an issue on the app. They contact me and fixed issues straight away for me, used the service to support my family back home in Africa in Somalia also this company supports a lot of different countries you can send your money love ones too. Highly recommend.
