This is the best pharmacy in Woodley by far!! Setting the bar and standard very high for customer satisfaction. Anish and his team. Simply put are the best. Always polite, friendly and full of great advice. If they haven't got your medication they advise where might have it if they cannot order it in. Anish and his team make you feel welcomed and not made to feel a number on an inconvenience by asking for your medication. Remembering each customer and putting customers concerns and worries at ease. Dispensing medications quickly and good interaction with customers. It's that consistent personal touch that makes Day Lewis pharmacy in Woodley stand out as the best pharmacy in the area. I've been going to this pharmacy for well over 10 years. Never have I seen any of the staff get annoyed or frustrated at customers. Which I have seen in other pharmacys. I don't even have to give my name when I need prescriptions as they always remember me. So if your looking for a pharmacy in Woodley that's always helpful and friendly and full of great customer service. This is the one to use!! There is also free parking too.
Keep up the good work Anish and team. Woodley would be lost if your pharmacy was ever to close!!

Day lewis pharmacy Peckham..the Worst pharmacy ever to go.The staff are highly trained with Rudeness especially the black Ghanaian ones..Today the 28th of January 2026,I went in there for pharmacy first which they provide. I then asked for the medication I could get under NHS as I am on free prescription only to be abused and called a Scrounger, that All i know was free Benefit, the Manager told me to Get a Job and stop asking for free Medication..I burst out Crying.. He even told me his Name and that I should report him if I wanted too...Name OSEI OKOTO..Registering No..2211971...DAY LEWIS PHARMACY PECKHAM HIGH STREET NEEDS A CHANGE OF ADMINISTRATION. Nobody should be able to talk down to your patient like that and get away with it..So Unacceptable.
I don't really write reviews but I wanted to take the time to praise the staff at the Bradford on Avon Pharmacy. They are always very helpful and help you solve any problems with your medications. This was not always the case but the team at the moment is welcoming, always smile and go out of their way to help you.
Extremely frustrating service. This is the second time I’ve waited over a week to be told my medication is ready, 10 days and counting. If you’re going to ask for contact details, at least use them. This level of communication is unacceptable, especially when it comes to prescriptions.
I visited Day Lewis Pharmacy St Austell on 27/01/26. I found the staff outstanding. Fast , efficient , professional and empathetic. In all honesty, this pharmacy was the best I’ve ever visited. Beautifully light, fresh, clean and most importantly well stocked. I also found that the marvellous staff manager Sue and Pharmacist Steve running Day Lewis pharmacy were very welcoming, open, caring & altruistic. Such a refreshing change. A five star experience. 10/10 Mrs P Jones.
As always, I ordered my 4 prescription items in good time, and they should have been delivered on a Wednesday. On the usual delivery day I was actually outside the local store on another errand, and thought I had better rush home to be there when the delivery came. I was rather surprised when it did not come so I telephoned the store at 3:15pm. As is sadly my regular experience (and has been the subject of a prior complaint which has obviously fallen on deaf ears), my call was answered with a curt ansafone message which advised me that (obviously) nobody could answer my call, please try later, and then just terminated the call. So I phoned again the following day, and thankfully someone was able to answer the call. They confirmed that they had my prescription and that it indeed should have been delivered the day before, and they were as baffled as I was why it had not been. They asked me to hold while they tried to find out why the items had not been delivered, and when they returned to the phone call, they didn’t actually confirm why I had been singled out for this special treatment. They asked me if someone could go into the store to collect it! I told them it would be difficult and that I would be at home the following day if they wanted to deliver then. They said that it wouldn’t be convenient for the delivery round following day! It’s worth noting that it wasn’t actually convenient for me to rush home for a delivery that was never going to come, and it wasn’t convenient for me that the delivery never showed up while I waited in for it, and it wasn’t convenient for me that nobody was able to answer my phone call, and it was not convenient for me to have to go back into town, to where I was the day before, to collect items that should have been delivered. Nor was it convenient for me to have to write a complaint about the matter, on top of having to spend an hour fixing their mess up! The fact is, I was literally outside the store on the delivery day, and had anyone had the courtesy to let me know that the pharmacy was not going to bother with my delivery then I could have picked it up then. The fact is, that even when I phoned them, the pharmacy were clearly clueless that they had failed to deliver a regular prescription that should have gone out for delivery the day before, and that it was still sat there. This would appear to be an extremely flawed system, and it’s really not reasonable that the onus has been put on me to collect items that I shouldn’t have to because the pharmacies system is clearly inadequate. The pharmacy royally messed up, and the pharmacy really ought to have taken responsibility for the failure, and not pass the buck on to me.I am currently unemployed, and frankly penniless, so why does Day Lewis think it acceptable for the pharmacy to glibly suggest I make an 8 mile round trip so that I might have the medication that I won’t be able to sleep without? It is now a week since I wrote a complaint to Day Lewis. When it was first sent, I received an email that claimed they would do their best to respond within 24 hours, but instead, I had heard nothing further a week later. I sent the email again on day six, and received the same lying email, claiming they aim to respond in a timely manner, when clearly they do not give a damn. I also copied the email into their CEO, which made no difference at all. Clearly, the abject negligence, and ignorance, is cultural and flows down from the top.The extremely poor reviews on here, which I note remain unanswered, and evidently also ignored, strongly suggest an organisation that is unwell, and one that will likely expire if not treated.
Went in to claim a prescription but when I pulled it out of my pocket it was addressed to boots in ventnor instead. So I put in my pocket and.left the shop. Only to be called back from outside by a worker called Charlotte in there who straight out said on I've stolen something, and bareing in mind I didn't pick no products up at all in their store as I was just trying to hand in a prescription. This was in front of customers, and beyond embarrassing. I proceeded anyway to empty all my pockets because in her words she witnessed me.putting there in there. There apologies are not enough, Charlotte is being rude and where's the daily face of a female dog. One of them ones. Absolutely disgusting behaviour. Made up a lie, again in her words she see me put the shops items in my pockets. I would not go there nor recommend there services to anyone
I have left Bradford on Avon laissez-faire "health" practice & Day Lewis Chemist at risk of fraud in a NHS geographic monopoly area due to incompetence, insulting attitude, and covering up over-ordering and common mistakes. I would like to hear from anyone with similar opinions to encourage competition to relocate to BoA to help my friends; the population.
The interior of this branch was redesigned some years ago by a total incompetent. Plenty of spare room for the pharmacists to work in at the back, no room for customers at the front, queuing 4 - 7 deep for one checkout. After a 15-30 minute wait, one is finally served by a curt salesperson.
