Moving out of a DEAS flat in Gyngemosen in Søborg has been everything we hoped it wouldn't be. DEAS is taking advantage of the situation and sending you large bills. In our case, the lease contract states that the flat must be returned in a refurbished condition. The walls, ceilings and panels were just refurbished, looking much nicer than when we moved in. Despite this, DEAS's representative at the handover inspection stated that the flat needed to be painted. Reference was made to rules for contracts entered into before 2015. This is not stated anywhere in our contract or anywhere else! They tried to reassure us that the flat only needed to be painted once. The bill for the painting alone came to almost DKK 22,000 plus VAT. This is totally unrealistic in relation to the task at hand! The specification states, among other things, that the window sills have been painted. There is one in the entire flat. Price: DKK 2,880 plus VAT.
So, if you can find a place to live that is not managed by DEAS, we recommend that you do so!

Extremely disappointing service experience

I encountered the worst customer service imaginable. After moving out in March 2025, I still haven't received my final deposit settlement. Despite sending 30 emails to the management team, there has been no response. As a foreigner, I strongly advise against using this service for rentals, as they will take advantage of you. It's disheartening to witness such practices. Eventually, on December 12, they sent me a final bill for 30,000 DKK for repairs, stating no deposit would be refunded. This feels like a scam. I would never recommend working with them.

Terrible experience with the service

If I could give a negative rating, I would. They never assisted us with anything, and all our issues went unresolved. The customer service is the worst I've ever encountered, much worse than a bank. No exaggeration here. Stay far away from this service.

Second comment - Untrustworthy service!

I previously left a comment, and the service responded by blaming me and claiming they resolved the issue, which they did not. This company is truly dishonest; do not trust them and avoid going alone for the key handover. They will take advantage of you! I've been seeking support since April, and after they passed my issue to me, they've only responded through this platform without providing any real solutions. Very unreliable service.

Improper charges and slow responses

The average response time is a week. I was incorrectly charged a notice fee. It took me a month to exchange a parking space, and it's still ongoing.
