These servers come with 1 core and 2GB of RAM, which is more than sufficient for my needs. Okay, your ticket processing speed is sometimes fast and sometimes slow. I don't know what your timezone is. My machine also crashed once, inexplicably switching between v4 and v6. Reinstalling fixed it. Could you please update the core memory and hard drive of your VPS? I can't expand it when I don't have enough. Also, the current doubling promotion requires all items; can't you just select one and calculate the price?
After a longer discussion with support, my VPS was eventually canceled and I received a refund. The communication took longer than expected, but I appreciate that they handled the situation fairly in the end. Overall, it was a mixed experience. However, they were unable to get the VPS working at all, which is a pity since I wanted to use it for K8s testing.
I’m very pleased with the set from Dedirock, from signing up and requesting the VPS and its availability, the whole process was hassle free and smooth. The VPS performed admirably and an issue that developed (an oversight on my part) was handled promptly after submitting a ticket. Thanks Dedirock!
$7 a year for 1vCPU/2GB RAM/30GB SSD/2TB Bandwidth. That’s 58 cents a month for a server that actually works. I’ve had no issues with downtime or overprovisioned hardware, which is a huge step up from other budget hosts I’ve tried (Valornode- overprovisioned, excessive downtime, and zero customer service. Hostodo- ignores tickets for weeks to months, numerous routing issues never solved). Dedirock's customer service is awesome, every time I've needed something they have come through for me. Best deal out there, period. The only limitations are the servers are low spec and only 2 locations: Los Angeles and Buffalo / New York.
