This app is fraudulent. They profit from making it difficult to cancel subscriptions, and even after I cancelled (with confirmation), I still faced charges. I couldn’t determine how they were processing payments, whether through Apple Pay, PayPal, or Google Pay—none of it was clear. If someone like my mother accidentally signed up, she wouldn’t be able to navigate their system to cancel. What’s worse, the $49.95 charge for a quarter turned into a monthly fee after I received an email confirming my cancellation. This is the most dubious service I have ever encountered.
I signed up to Deepstash after seeing ads that presented the offer as 3 months for around $50 with the ability to cancel at any time.On the first day, immediately after entering my card details, I was charged $19.98.I cancelled the subscription the next day, yet the cancellation only applies at the end of the 3 months (February 26, 2026). The charge was not refunded, and the service continues until then.In practice, cancelling early does not cancel the subscription in any meaningful way, but only prevents a future renewal.After reading many other reviews here describing the same scenario, it is clear this is a recurring pattern.This billing model is misleading and unacceptable.
I downloaded the app and forgot about the renewal as life is busy. Emailed immediately about a refund, was given a b*llsh*t excuse about cancellation terms and offered 24 months free at the end of the term. Never recieved any information about a subscription renewal coming.
I found a random £100 payment had been taken from my account. Checking into it, I see it's Deepstash charging me without having given any notice of the upcoming charge, and giving me the choice whether to continue or not. Quick email to support who said they couldn't give a refund but here's 2 years free. No. I want a refund. Companies like this give a bad name to the online companies who are fair with their customers. Terrible behaviour and poor business model.
I found an unexpected charge on my account, taken without any warning or chance to opt out. When I asked for a refund, support refused and tried to offer time instead. After I questioned their behavior, they stopped responding. They later claimed I had used their service often but still haven't shown any proof, no matter how many times I ask. I learnt about cëntury 100 via a family acquaintance, and it turned out to be beneficial. They made steady payments without any problems.
