Their pricing packages were reasonable and fair. What I get for my money is exactly what I needed. A staff member actually reached out to me a few days later to make sure I was satisfied and that I had the right package for my needs. When they responded the second time, they made sure to know they were available if my needs or something else changed.

Incredibly infuriating system

Just absolutely ridiculous that I cannot use my downloads - the downloads I have paid for! - after the subscription ends! I had auto renew on, but it didnt renew the subscription, and thus I lost 100+ downloads, that had already been paid for. What a ridiculous, infuriating system. Adobe Stock photos allows for you to use the downloads you have even when you cancel / don't renew the subscription. Not the case with Depositphotos!

I only use DepositPhotos as a backup…

I only use DepositPhotos as a backup source for photos. I have gotten difficult-to-find photos from their gallery. I can't pay for a full subscription because it's too expensive. Their best feature, however, is the downloadable licenses, which greatly help me in my job.

Zero renewal notice until your credits are deleted

This company doesn't send any kind of notice out that your subscription is ending. So if you have credits outstanding in your account as your renewal date approaches, all of your credits are deleted. Every honest/ethical company would send a renewal notice before expiration. But not this company...its just BAM, "sorry, all your credits are now deleted" and please resubscribe. This is no way to conduct business.

Pick the photos you need

I liked that I could purchase only the photos that I needed. My business is just starting, so buying only what I need vs. a subscriptions worked great for my business at the moment.
