I have been using Deposit Photos at least once a week since 2018. They always have photos that I can use and enhance the relevance of my blogs. They are just great. The quality of the photos is excellent, and you can't beat their price.
Of all the stock photo sites available, Depositphotos is my go-to source for the best images – and they don't bankrupt me! I create covers for my MIL's historical romance novels and Depositphotos is the ONLY site I found that has a gallery of models in period dress. Thank you for providing this!

They tricked me into giving them sensitive banking information, promising it would solve my problems. Still nothing. I like that you can test out the photos before purchase. I didn't need many, so I bought the pack of 3. Used one after experimenting with it for a book cover. I'll use another after trying them out. I've had an account for years, and bought some photos earlier when prices were lower. They are still available to me to download again, if needed. Seems like a good repository for real photos. And I can follow the photographer if I like their work.I check out the free photos, also.
As a book cover designer (and to promo my own books) I've used DepositPhotos for years. Unfortunately, they now require you to use AI for simple things (like background remover, which they will charge you a whole separate picture for). Every time I log on lately there's some new AI thing, which got me to finally write this review. There is little transparency in the use and the cost, they push for AI in the searches, etc, which is insanely detrimental to the environment. Moreover, it makes it hard for those of us in the book industry (and other businesses I presume) where it is imperative to disclose use of AI (and that use has and understandable negative connotation). This is a very disappointing move by DepositPhotos. I'll use up my repurchased credits and then go elsewhere for licensed images.
