This graphic design website tricks you into buying a subscription. Which you are (initially) happy to buy because it feels like a good deal: I paid 60 USD for one-year subscription to the online app that allows me designing any logo I would like to. The editor is great and the AI features are amazing. What can go wrong?It turns out their graphic design features are amazing but their business model is dodgy as hell. So what really happens when you buy a paid membership? You are really buying the right to have ONE project. Yes, you hear me right - just ONE logo. Which makes no sense really, because if the desired payment model is per-project (i.e. per single logo done with their tools) then I would rather expect a single payment for each project, right? But no - you are supposed to pay a separate lifetime subscription for the right to design a single logo (wtf??). 60 USD per year per every logo, if you choose yearly payment mode, because in monthly mode it is much more expensive. I mean ... what ???? Let me be super-clear here: the subscription is not for the app (app apparently can be used for free) but for the right to download the results of your SINGLE work. This is so counter-intuitive, convoluted, stupid and over-expensive that I see this service as a scam. They are NOT informing about all this on the website. The website tricks you into believing that it is like any other website of this type - you pay a subscription for the right to use it. But the reality is just brutal. To be honest it is a shame and a missed opportunity. The functionality is amazing and if they used fair business model and fair information policy I would be the first one to recommend. Actually I would be OK with both approaches - pay as you go (say, 5 USD per single project, one time payment) or subscription (pay XXX dollars per month and design as many logos as you like). But no, they picked some apparently dodgy "fake subscription" scheme that is all about tricking people into losing money for nothing. Unfortunately I may only summarize my experience as: stay away from this website. This is a very unusual scam, made as a combination of solid features and dodgy subscription model. When I realized how they tricked me, I got furious.
The suggested designs are very good. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and quantity of the proposed designs. Many of them correspond really closely to the main ideas that I want to convey in our logo. The interface is very intuitive and user-friendly. The check-out process and the suggested additional services are also excellent. Well done.
Your service was excellent with your email response. The only thing that l was only informed after l paid that you do not export to South Africa. That wasn't mentioned before l place my order. I did consult via email and they informed me that the amount of R1188.00 wil be refunded in 7 working days
