Our destination wedding was a dream realized, and the representative played a significant role in making it happen. They were fantastic to work with—extremely responsive, organized, and sincerely caring towards both us and our guests. The representative participated in multiple video calls to ensure every detail was perfectly communicated and continued to assist with vendors even after the wedding, which exceeded our expectations.
Having transportation included made the booking process nearly effortless for our guests, which was a major advantage. The only challenge we faced was that the booking platform was often undergoing maintenance, leading to some issues for guests at times. Fortunately, the representative was always there to help address any concerns.
We couldn’t be more satisfied with our experience and have already recommended the service and the representative to our close friends. We are incredibly grateful for their assistance and would choose them again without hesitation.
I've had such an amazing and smooth experience booking with Janice Gwilliam. She has been so thorough, friendly, informative, accommodating, and on the ball! Weddings can be so overwhelming but Janice mad everything so effortless and simple! She responded to every email within minutes and answered every single question I asked and gave very informing answers but also went above and beyond offering upgrades for more comfort! I 100% recommend Janice! I'm going to Mexico for my best friends wedding but if I ever do a destination wedding I will for sure be reaching out to Janice!

Our wedding experience was fantastic! Sue guided us toward a resort that fully met our needs, and she took us through all of the steps of the process. Putting weddings together can be stressful, and we were grateful to have someone who could keep everything on track, especially as it got closer to the date. We had a great time and would definitely recommend Destination Weddings to others!
We booked our destination wedding through Destination Weddings for our April 2025 wedding. We met the promotion credit requirement for rooms booked and traveled and paid the room block deposit.Per our contract, our final reconciliation and refund were supposed to be processed within 90 days of travel — meaning by July 2025. We’re now well past that deadline, and despite multiple follow-ups, we have not received our group deposit refund or our promotional credit that was clearly outlined in our agreement.Even worse, on August 29, 2025, our coordinator confirmed in writing that our credit would be processed within 30 days. That deadline came and went with no communication, no update, and no payment.At this point, the company is in clear breach of contract, and we’ve had to seek legal representation just to recover what we’re owed. What should have been a celebratory post-wedding wrap-up has turned into a frustrating, time-consuming battle. Once they have your money, the communication stops.If you’re planning your wedding, think twice before using Destination Weddings Travel Group. Oh and let’s not forget we had to change travel agents because the first agent, Veronica, was unresponsive. We had multiple complaints from our guests and loss of rooms with guests choosing book directly due to her lack of communication. The follow-through with this company is nonexistent. We expected professionalism and accountability — instead, we’ve been ignored for months.This experience has completely soured what should have been a joyful memory.
We are using DestinationWeddings.com for our wedding, and the resort that they connected us with is fine, but the Destination Weddings service is laughably underwhelming. They force you to go through them in order to speak to certain resorts, get a large kickback from said resorts, and provide poor customer service. We've had to use them for all of our booking process for our guests, which has been a headache from start to finish.
Five stars are just not enough to express our gratitude for Karen! We were told right after we booked our resort that we were getting someone new to work with and wasn't sure what that would mean for us. From the very start, she made our wedding journey incredibly smooth and joyful. She handled all our bookings, transportation, and the countless little details with so much care and grace. Thanks to her, we could truly relax and enjoy every moment of our wedding booking process. Karen is an absolute gem and we can’t recommend her highly enough for anyone planning their big day. Amy is always a joy to work with! I’ve been working with her for over 6 years now and this is my 4th vacation she’s planned. As always, she is very responsive, timely and stays on top of everything that you can think of. I told her what I was looking to do for my 40th Birthday and she selected a great resort. Hard Rock was massive and we didn’t even have to leave the resort. The customer service, food, drinks, esthetics everything was top notch. I was going through some personal things the week prior to my departure and Amy stepped in and told me not to worry about anything. She literally had my guest direct all questions to her and I just showed up! She handled everything and even offered her prayers for my situation. It’s not everyday you encounter good genuine people like Amy. Can’t wait to book the next adventure with her!
