Dave was an absolutely exceptional Tour Director. From the very beginning, he made meaningful and impactful connections with our students, which truly enhanced their experience. He was incredibly organized and schedule-oriented, ensuring that every detail of our trip ran smoothly and efficiently.

When our departure was delayed due to a snowstorm, Dave handled the situation with complete professionalism and calm. He went above and beyond to manage the changes seamlessly, reassuring both me and my group that everything was under control. His confidence and steady presence made all the difference, and he ensured that every detail was taken care of.

Dave was also extremely knowledgeable about every location we visited. Our students learned so much each day, and his passion and insight brought each experience to life. He made a lasting positive impact not only on the students but also on the chaperones.

Dave is, without question, the most amazing tour guide I have ever worked with. He embodies everything you would hope for in a Tour Director—personable, kind, organized, knowledgeable, and endlessly helpful. There truly are not enough words to describe how fantastic he is. We are so grateful for the incredible experience he helped create.

Hands down, best experience! Let me start by saying that in July my daughter will be taking her 4th trip with EF and I will be taking my 3rd. We love these trips so much so that we are even bringing my dad on his first trip. We are also signed up for trips in the summer of 2027, and my son will be attending that one for his first trip. All of that being said, I cannot recommend EF enough. We have had every issue you can imagine. Including missing flights to our location and having to stay an extra 3 days at the end of the same trip. EF compensated us for the lost day we had at the beginning as well as compensation for issues at the end related to the extra costs. We have always had the best tour guides. Milos who was our guide on our Greece trip was the best! We are actually having him as our guide for the 2027 trip as well. We have never felt unsafe in any of the locations we have been. Hotels were not always the best and some of them I would say lagged behind the times, but overall we can't complain about them. Food was never a problem for us. We have always been able to have something that met our taste. We have even had the opportunity to try things we normally wouldn't. The excursions were a learning experience as well as fun. The tour guides did a great job of interacting and keeping it light for the kids. I would say that there was a good mix of structured time as well as free time. We seemed to have enough of both. We only had to rush through one thing that I can think of and it happened to be the one I was most interested in. But I get it there needs to be a schedule so ultimately it was fine, I saw enough of it. So far we have been to Netherlands, Belgium, France, UK, Greece, Turkey, New Zealand, Australia, and Fiji. Our next trip is to Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, France, UK and Scotland. And then we are doing eastern Europe in 2027. If you ever have any doubts about sending your child alone with EF don't. I promise you will 100% not regret it. The experience of getting out and seeing the world as a kid is absolutely worth the anxiety it might give you as a parent. They will be fine and find a new love they didn't know they had. They will experience life through other cultures and that is such an invaluable gift to give them as parents. I highly recommend EF for that experience.

Our tour of Florence, Rome, and Assisi was an unforgettable experience for both my students and me. Everything ran so smoothly from start to finish, and we truly couldn’t have asked for a better trip.

Our tour director, Bea, was absolutely fantastic. She was organized, knowledgeable, and incredibly kind. She made sure every detail was handled seamlessly and added so much insight and enthusiasm along the way.

The itinerary was perfectly planned, balancing sightseeing, cultural experiences, and free time. Every activity was engaging and memorable, from exploring iconic landmarks to discovering local gems and supermarkets.

The restaurants were noticeably better than on previous tours I’ve taken before COVID — delicious, authentic, and well-chosen for the group. The hotels were comfortable making our days easier and our nights restful.

Overall, this trip exceeded expectations in every way. My students learned so much, had an amazing time, and created memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you, Bea and EF, for an exceptional experience!

Unacceptable Experience

Unacceptable experience; they changed the tour and refused to refund my money. I paid for two trips to France for my daughter's graduation in 2026, spending over $5000. Now, they have postponed it to 2027, and I am left with more payments while the trip is not canceled. What is the point of this change?

Disheartening Experience for Veterans

As a veteran, I always encourage youth to explore the world for broader cultural experiences. Our child was scheduled to travel this summer, but the service postponed it to next year, causing a conflict with our existing commitments. When we requested a refund, we were slapped with over $900 in cancellation fees for a trip that won’t happen as promised. They refused to refund or waive the fees, saying it was our fault for canceling. This feels like exploitation of veterans.

Refund Policy is Unreasonable

The refund policy in place is unreasonable. If the school cancels the trip, any deposits or payments made should be refunded as the trip is no longer available!

Caution: Issues with Refunds

As a veteran, I support youth travel for cultural growth. Our child was set to travel this summer, but the service postponed it to next year, conflicting with our plans. When we asked for a refund, we were charged over $900 in cancellation fees for a trip that is no longer happening. They refused to refund or waive the fees, blaming us for canceling. This feels like a betrayal to veterans.
