If I could give them zero stars I would…

If I could give them zero stars I would. I sold my house over a year ago due to my partner being hospitalized and no longer being able to provide financial support in order for us to keep our home. When I called to cancel my service, DFW security stated that I still had one more year on my contract and I would still need to pay the full amount left on the contract. The option they gave me was to transfer my service to a different location, however, because of the medical bills and other financial constraints, I am currently living with my best friend until I get my feet back underneath me. The person on the phone gave me another option of canceling my service with a cancellation date of the day I called, but I would have to pay the full amount of the remaining year right then. Or I can do a cancellation date of the last day of the contract, but I would still be responsible for paying the monthly premium until then. Since there is no way, I could pay a year’s worth of monthly premiums at one time, I elected to just cancel the service with the termination date being the last day of my contract. Now, a WHOLE year and two months later, I received a charge for service that is $10 more than the original premium— reminder: all of this is for a house I sold and have not lived in for OVER A YEAR! Today, I asked the person on the phone, if I would be refunded for last month fraudulent premium charge since I canceled my service over a year ago and was told that the person I spoke with last year did not submit my cancellation, therefore they cannot refund my money from last month because it cost the company money to have to run and upkeep the service that was provided last month. WHY WOULD I CARE THAT YOU LOST MONEY ON KEEPING A SERVICE I CANCELED ON A HOME THAT I HAVE NOT OWNED OR LIVED IN FOR MORE THAN A YEAR? I HIGHLY advise that you stay away from DFW Security!!! SCAM artists!

DFW Security is the best!

We have been using DFW Security for a long time. We needed to upgrade our security service and Jennifer L. was amazing and helping us getting things scheduled/ordered. She respond so quickly to emails and is just the nicest person. Shawn, our technician was marvelous. He did a wonderful job with the upgrades (taking time to pet our pup who was following him around). He was so kind and really made sure we had what we needed. The customer service from start to finish is exceptional. They are flexible, kind and very responsive. They agreed to come later when I had a work emergency come up. Best security service around.

Misleading information

Misleading information! New service, old wiring and now expected to pay for new sensor otherwise can't use the system. Salesperson should have explained if we use old wiring you will have to pay for any new parts needed, we may have gone with a complete new system or warranty. We weren't given any options only told GREAT we can use your old system. Also, horrible customer service, tech came out and started arguing with me and I quickly felt uncomfortable. Immediately called DFW Security and they pretty much refuse to replace part unless I pay for it. They didn't care about the misleading information, lack of information or their tech arguing with me.

Avery salesperson calls me and quotes…

Avery salesperson calls me and quotes me a rate which was higher then my present rate and asks me why I called if I was happy with my present service provider. Very rude do not do business with this company

Had new system installed on 10/19/2022…

Had new system installed on 10/19/2022 it stop working on 10/21/2022 called in for service talked to Chris and offer to send someone next day for wait time of five hour window asked to talked to his manager he said he is the manager no one is above him that I could talk to Chris was rude and not good service provider
