Unbelievably awful experience. We lost the sale after Doddl delayed the first step for mortgage approval by 3 months. We lost about 6 weeks due to the snail's pace and constant requests for more documents. Then they swore blind that we needed a credit check document from the country we has previously lived in and would not allow us to proceed to application without it. We told them it was impossible due to the privacy laws and they wasted another month before eventually proceeding anyway. It turns out it was not needed in the end. They are an absolute disgrace.

Fantastic brokers, everyone we dealt with were super knowledgable and understanding.People say buying a house is one of the most stressful things you'll ever do, and although we found that to be true, the Doddl team made it so much better. They were on hand and responsive to any (potentially silly) questions we had. They knew each step through and through, and handled all the tricky bits and pieces in terms of forms and insurances. All while being very sound and straight forward. I couldn't recommend them more!
Excellent help and communication throughout our mortgage switching process. Very clear interface to help you organise what you need in order to switch in terms of documents and really on the ball staff who make regular contact if something is incomplete or needs editing. Couldnt speak more highly of the service.
The team at Doddl are amazing. Genuinely so kind, persistent and knowledgeable. I'd have probably given up with the stress of it all if I didn't have them in my corner. I dealt with Áine, Soricha and Elaine and they were all fantastic. Soricha and Elaine in particular did Trojan work for us, above and beyond and we're so grateful. 10000% recommend having them to help with the process.
It’s a pity to do this but needs must as the level of mismanagement surrounding my mortgage application is unbelievable. I’m currently at risk of the sale falling through as my mortgage is still not signed off. Dealing with Doddl since August on this. Today I was told part of the funding is not even applied for. Also that the property I’m purchasing is a ‘holiday home’. This was never stated. I’m dumbfounded and really worried now that the sale will fall through after 5 months of trying to get the finance sorted.
We used doddl as our mortgage advisors when buying our first home, and our experience with them throughout was fantastic. They made everything so easy, couldnt recommend them enough. Only downfall was the Solicitors that you can use through them, we didnt have the best experience with them and wouldn't recommend, but any other service we used through doddl (e.g. life insurance application) was great.
XXI century approach to the whole process. We went AIP in November and got keys to our house on 31st of January. Yes you deal with multiple people throughout the process but that means someone is always there to answer your emails. Its great to see the whole process being a little bit more hassle free.
