In my opinion, this feels like a scam. I can't download and read the ebook I bought without relying on their app or online API. I want the freedom to read my ebook on any device, without unnecessary apps and digital clutter. Definitely not using this again. Plus, everything is in German. The app restricts bookstores to specific countries, so when I chose Austria, I found it difficult to access the ebook platform, as only one option was available. This has really put a damper on my holiday.

My ebook order was on hold for two days with no updates. When I called customer support, I learned they had issues with my IP (likely due to the app I use), but they didn't inform me. The representative became defensive and rudely cut me off with a 'Goodbye!'
