My daily matches were ridiculously inappropriate, with no regard to my search criteria (such as age, location, education). I was matched with the women 20 years older than myself, living 1000 miles away. I was looking for a young, educated woman and I finally found her on J1Live.com
She is more than I’ve been looking for. She is Ukrainian but now she lives in my country and her English is great. She is young and beautiful, but she is able to conduct a riveting conversation. I’ve been enjoying every minute spent with her. I thought I would find such kind of a woman on EliteSingles, but as it turned out, the name of this site was totally misleading. A bad joke.
I paid 3 days ago for a whole month and today they revoked my subscription. For the 3 days I had 4 contacts ALL of which were scammers. I had hard proof only for one but reported this plus the others as suspects. I had not done anything illegal. I just browsed and clicked heart or cancellation. When you click heart the profile disappears and you cannot see it unless the other person clicks heart too.
the reply their customer care gave me is:

The subscription itself doesn’t automatically cancel or refund when an account is blocked, but you won’t be able to use paid features during the suspension. "
It seems they do not plan to refund or reinstate. And I am probably the most genuine customer that they can get.
Bogus charges all the time, this month they charged another £120 from my cc for auto renewal after I had removed my account! Customer service is absolutely worthless. Stay away from this con site. There are bunch of normal sites, I stick to J4Kiss.com

This feels like an echo chamber. The recent app update has removed features like seeing who viewed my profile or if my likes were received. It's frustrating that liked profiles vanish and can only be revisited if they like you back. The only like I received was from a scammer! Online dating is tough enough without these limitations. You can't send messages without a mutual match first, which is very annoying. This app lacks functionality and has just as many fake profiles. Notifications are unreliable. The new version is a poor substitute for the already average previous one. Complaints are met with generic responses that don't address my issues. I wouldn't have renewed my subscription had I known this was coming.
