How can there be reviews where some people are saying that they are completely satisfied and others are saying they would never recommend this company to anyone. As for my personal experience, my Transfer from Hyderabad got delayed for over 7 months, was charged for all the months they hoarded in their godown and I had to put up with a very rude person named Ajit Kumar who operates the business in a typical Rowdy Indian movie style. I had to finally get another mover to do the job.
Friends - we use this company for our household items shifting from USA to India and we extend our thanks for giving comfort right from day one till truck reached Hyd door. In USA the container arrived door but in India they transferred to smaller trucks. I was told steam ship containers dont come door step. Anyways professional services. RECOMMENDED
This company seemed reliable and efficient to start with. However, we were aghast when our cartons arrived in France. Almost all our precious crockery was in pieces. Art works and photo frames were not put in a wooden crate as agreed - the glass of the frames was smashed. None of the cartons containing breakables were labelled FRAGILE or HANDLE WITH CARE. We had paid for half the consignment to be packed by the transporter and had housed and fed a team of seven packers for two days. Yet, the company refuses to take responsibility and compensate us by saying that everything was packed by us and that we had not insured the entire consignment. We had moved twice earlier without any breakage. Emerald outsources the work to other companies without any quality control. They simply cannot be trusted to transport anything of value.There's a response after months ... but it's in blatant bad faith. The boxes packed by their packers had no bubble wrap unlike ours and the damage was unprecedented whether packed by us or by them. We certainly did not use any surf cartons - our cartons were those that come with our goods from Switzerland. Why were the wooden crates we paid for not provided? They supervised the loading into the truck and I can certify that there was no breakage on the path between the house and the truck. Emerald has not specified how and where the truck was unloaded and the container loaded. It is obvious that for 85 articles to be smashed there was not enough care in what they packed, possible damage due to fast driving on mountain roads and extremely rough handling while unloading and loading. I'm sorry to say that your response is inadmissible and only goes to show how untrustworthy you are.

They are the worst company, I would not even turst them with my rubbish!I moved from UK and my UK company partnered with them to handle situation in India. They have been rude, uncommunicative (just don't pick up the calls) and have never ever answered a single question from me properly in a professional manner. They charged me 11,000 rs for mysterious 'holding charges' and 'customs' (eventhough I have imported used toys and books of my child) and never gave me a reciept for it despite asking for a million times. They claimed that out of my shipment they did not recieve a box, but they did not inform me about it until after the shipment was delivered. They made their delivery guy lie to me that the box has been located and it's at chennai port so they will courier it to me. I even have a recording of the guy admitting to lieing so that I will sign the papers! They have been utterly unprofessional and I would never ever use them but will make sure that I post reviews about them everywhere!
