From Bangalore to South of France. Smooth process from explanation to packaging. We hit a hurdle with the French company working with Emerald who took their own sweet time.but Ajith who was our connect from emerald went all the way to help us get our shipment.Highly recommend.we only have 1/3 of the container.
Iam Sandeep from Bangalore. I have approached Emerald Relocation services team for shifting our furniture and few white goods to Santa Clara, USA, The quote was very high so i tried getting few other price for comparison, yes Emerald price was competitive so i choose them. Timely packing, delayed sailing, timely delivery, reasonable approach, well mannered team. I later found that the delay in carrier's port to port was of international issue not connected to this team. However i would suggest to educate customer in advance the reality so that customers are prepared, otherwise iam happy with Emerald Relocations company Team. Good luck team.
Let me start with the good part first (there isn't much). Mr Manoj who is the primary point of contact when you get in touch with this company will come across as the most sweet, honest and humble soul you have met on earth. He will build a personal relationship with you (I work with Amazon and he tried to find many common sources) and will have all the time in the world when you want to speak to him. He will assure you that he is there for you for any help and coax you with pricing which is too good to be true. That is where the good part ends. Once you sign up for Emerald Relocations to be your movers and packers, Mr Manoj will magically disappear. He will stop responding to your calls and messages citing personal and professional emergencies (in my case, it took him 30 days to respond to a whatsapp message). Once your stuff is packed and sent to their warehouse, the quotation that was initially provided will no longer hold. Suddenly, things that were part of inclusions (in my case destination terminal handling charges worth ~Rs 20K) will now become part of exclusions. All prior agreements on mail and verbal confirmations given will be history and you will be left on the whims and fancies that this organization wants to charge; because by now you are out of country and your stuff is in their warehouse, so you hardly have a choice.I was foolish not to have done a thorough research before signing up with Emerald relocations. When I eventually did go through some other reviews, I realized I was not the only one to go through such an ordeal. Luckily for me, my parents are still in India. To save any further trouble, I decided to immedietly move my stuff back from their warehouse and find another reputed movers and packers. Not to mention, Emerald charged me an additional Rs 18000/- (for packing 17 cartons and bringing them from Mumbai to Pune) which I paid for my folly of not researching earlier.Emerald Relocations is a fraud organization with no ethics and values. Surprisingly, when I decided to move my stuff back from their warehouse, I was getting prompt responses on mail and whatsapp from Mr Manoj, who till then was so tied up in this professional responsibilities. He did his best to hammer the point that he upholds all values and ethics as a professional, none of which were displayed in my 2 months of dealing with him. Emerald Relocations is a fraud organization and it is sad that such companies still exist who can harass their customers at their will. If you still choose to go ahead with them, god bless you! I sincerely hope that no one else has to go through the same pain as I did while moving from stuff from India to Dubai.
Emerald recently helped me with my move from India to the Netherlands. Manoj clearly explained the process, personally managed in making sure that the goods are packed efficiently in India.There were some delays because of the corona crisis with the shipping liners but they had provided timely updates, stored the goods for additional time and also delivered them safely. The delivery was seemless without any additional costs. One happy customer.
I last used the services of Emerald Relocation for my movement from Bangalore to San Jose. The service was just excellent with no stones left untouched in sharing insight the way the industry works, the do’s and dont’s in the relocations process and on all the financial angles and clarifying all my queries. Quote was explained very clearly by Manoj and he went an extra mile to ensure I am confident in choosing Emerald for the shipping process. There were minor damages which is actually not a concern as in a long movement we should be prepared as nobody does it knowingly. I did have to pay some additional cost but was prepared as I was informed prior to sailing, If applicable. Great company to work with and the entire movement happened in a smooth manner because of Manoj only as he managed my expectation with utmost professionalism and sincerity. Emerald Relocations has done a great job with shipment of my stuff from India to Australia. In the times of COVID it was really a great relief to get the stuff without any damage and loss. They provided the service professionally and I was able to constantly get all the updates from pick-up to deliver. The pick-up and delivery processes were smooth.Finally, I will recommend that if you are planning to ship overseas this is the service provider you should go. Truly Awesome!!!
I have used the services of Emerald company for my personal belongings from UK to India (in specific Reading to Bangalore), they have entrusted third party in UK and they both co-ordinated well, packed my home belongings using their materials, shipping services and arranged door delivery in a fantastic manner.
