I am once again disappointed by this ineffective company. After my son's unexpected passing, I did everything required to cancel his account and inform them of the new tenants. Yet, I received a bill 10 months later requesting updated meter readings and payment. Their responses have been confusing, and I have now taken my concerns to higher authorities outside this company.
I contacted them regarding a smart meter, and the first option was to book an appointment. I can't recall the second option, but the third was to opt out of having a smart meter. I opted out, and now they are inquiring about my experience. I simply want answers to my questions, not this hassle.
I have yet another disheartening report on the actions of this inefficient and incompetent company. My son passed away unexpectedly in February 2025, and I notified them right away. I canceled the contract and submitted all necessary information. Despite assurances, I received no communication until 10 months later, when I found a bill asking for updated meter readings. They claim my email isn't linked to the account, which is absurd since he has passed away. I have escalated my concerns to higher authorities, but not within this company.
I can't express how much distress this company has caused my family. They sent a debt collector to my elderly mother's home despite her consistently paying her bills. The collector was baffled by this situation. They later transferred the debt to a collection agency, yet I have not received any receipt for the final settlement. I feel compelled to take legal action.
My holiday let guest has been without heating and hot water. The company refuses to send anyone out and expects my elderly guest to troubleshoot the issue. An emergency plumber confirmed the problem was with the supplier. I filed a complaint and was told it would take three days to respond, which is unacceptable, especially in October.
The company came to install a smart meter for my vulnerable mother and left her without electricity after isolating a faulty shower cable. She had no means to contact anyone for help and was left in a distressing situation. I had to hire an electrician to resolve the issue, which was incredibly stressful.
Communicating with them feels like talking to a brick wall. Despite sending clear emails, they keep asking the same questions. They claim I owe money from April 2021, even after I vacated the property that month and provided proof. The persistent emails are incredibly frustrating.
Avoid properties supplied by this company. My daughter purchased a repossessed house and is being pursued for a £4400 debt left by the previous owner. Even though she pays her bills on time, they keep chasing her for the old debt, causing her significant anxiety.
