Alma school location in Mesa... Steer Clear.

The Alma school location in Mesa... Steer Clear. The air conditioning seems to be nonfunctional or not used at all. This facility feels like a sweatshop. Why wouldn't there be proper air conditioning for those exercising? The humidity is overwhelming, reminiscent of Florida. It's not "The Yard," it's genuinely like being in a swamp.

Overcrowded Gym Experience

The gym has great potential but is frequently overcrowded during my visits, making workouts inefficient. I would have rated it higher, but the cancellation process is overly complicated.

The gym has a lot of potential, but it's been overwhelmingly busy during most of my visits. This made it difficult to complete my workouts efficiently. I would have rated it 5 stars, but the cancellation process is unnecessarily complicated.

Challenging to Cancel Training Contract

Terminating the personal training contract has proven to be a significant challenge. Additionally, the service used my debit card without prior notice to collect $450 in quick succession. Each time I visited, the gym was crowded, making it hard to access machines. I have limited time to work out, which made this gym impractical. While the amenities are generally well-maintained and the staff is friendly, the overall experience has been frustrating.

Concerning Locker Room Policy

Disappointing Treatment

As a member for two months, I am extremely dissatisfied with my treatment. A staff member removed me for using my phone holder during workouts, despite being assured it was allowed when I joined. I have video proof of using it without issue previously. This experience was humiliating and unprofessional, prompting me to seek a full refund and consider legal action. I cannot recommend this gym due to the unsafe environment.

Unexpected Charges for Coaching

I initially signed up for a membership through my workplace at a discounted rate. After retiring, I informed the service that I no longer qualified for that membership. I was offered a similar plan without the discount, and after some back and forth, I reluctantly agreed to a coaching fee of $150. I later discovered that this fee was charged twice a month, which was not clearly explained. This led to unexpected overdraft fees and a decline in my credit score. Overall, the experience has been disappointing, and I plan to cancel my membership.

Frustrating Membership Renewal Process

I am very disappointed with the service. I attempted to cancel my membership a few days before the renewal date, only to be informed of an $82 renewal fee due to an unclear policy about cancellation notice.
