Review Time
I placed an order which was received, but with an incorrect item. Since contacting Eve Lom on their website, I still have not received a reply after a week. I strongly suggest that those having the same issues contact trading standards to raise a complaint, which is what I intend to do. I will also raise a chargeback on my credit card.
A week ago I ordered a product through their website together with an extraordinary amount for post and packing. So far I've heard nothing more. The Shop app says they're still preparing shipment. Two emails have elicited no response at all beyond the standard automatic response. It's looking like this purchase was a really bad idea. Either they're con-artists or plain incompetent.
There is a £100 200ml cleanser missing from my order. I've sent 3 emails, messaged you on social media over the course of a week and a half and i've had no response. There is no customer services phone number to contact and you don't appear to respond on other methods.
Initially, I was annoyed no one responded to my email to spend my hard earned money but after reading the poor reviews here and on other sites I’m grateful! Saved myself a lot of money. It’s bad enough to ignore customers but to not receive your products or receive inferior product is worse. And in this instance it worked in my favour. There are plenty of reputable skin care brands out there so relieved I was unable to place an order.Usually when smaller companies are taken over by larger companies, customer service and quality are the first to go. It’s all about profit maximisation.
This breaks my heart to say this about a British product I have been using since 2001. Since its ownership takeover by a Chinese firm in 2021, the product has gone downhill. On some of the packaging it has gone from clean and no frills to tacky! And my favourite TLC cream has changed. The cream does not possess the same potent smell it once did, and the texture is more runny than it used to be; before, it had a thick consistency, which it doesn’t have now. The last batch I bought feels more water-based. I sent an email to the head office in London and I've had no reply! Digusting as the products are not cheap.
I purchased the foaming cleanser which I loved then went on to purchase 3 more as they had an offer on but when I went to use the first one the smell wasn’t the same and it smelt rancid I contacted them to be told that it didn’t sound right and to open the other two which I did and they smelt the same was then told there was nothing they could do so I’m now left with 3 opened products that I cannot use and I’ve had no response since avoid using this company at all costs shocking customer service. I would have given one star but it wasn’t an option.
Zero service, I think their whole customer service team might have been laid off, or else how is it even possible to receive zero response after multiple emails.Paid my money, products never shipped, no response front their ghost CS team, and obviously they don’t give a damn, because why would they? They can just keep taking money from people, and not sending any products.Perhaps they are the biggest brand name scams ever.Rubbish!
If there had been a zero star I would have awarded it they don’t deserve one ! I have been a loyal customer for 20 years and I am done thanks to disgusting disrespectful customer service , I got a very expensive moisturiser from John Lewis ant the gold lid fell apart and my £86 cream now covers my face , hands every time I use it . Was given total brush off by Eve lom , I will never use them again and I am spreading the word , They don’t even have the decency to reply !!!!!!
