Not good, because I'm still waiting for the headlights and horn, which were delivered defective!!!!
And I had to connect the cables in the center console myself because that had been forgotten; I needed an expert for that.
Ordered a bike. Almost got delivered. Then it got sent back to Fafrees. For no apparent reason. Trying to communicate with them what is happening and when I can expect my bike. Got no reply.Now it's three weeks since I ordered my bike. But I still have not received it. No replies on questions, no status update. Paid for something which never got delivered.
You always have to keep an eye on the price. We're not talking about a bike that costs 3,000 € or more.But under 1k , NEW!On this its really well made, visually very appealing and with good riding characteristics.Yes, the mudguards rub and are made of cheap-looking plastic (you can get new ones from SKS for 30.- ).Yes, the battery is not very powerful, especially at low temperatures (level 1 maximum 50 km).But it's still a good e-bike for a really good price.
The bike arrived fine however after 6 weeks the first of many faults happened my bike was out of action for 4 months while they drip fed me repairs 10 months later the bike continues to break down !!!Please be aware this is a Chinese company with a British registered company who refuses to abide by British consumer laws after so many problems I asked for a refund they refused stating they only give refunds up to 30 days this is not compliant with UK law nor is it I believe compliant with Chinese law BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY
Don't expect support after one year. My battery died just after the 12-month mark. Fafrees is hiding behind a self-made '1-year warranty' to ignore the mandatory 2-year EU legal guarantee. Customer service refuses to explain the defect and simply wants more money for a replacement. A premium product should last more than 14 months. Terrible support, zero accountability, and a complete disregard for Dutch consumer protection laws. Buy elsewhere / Order SP6982
Farfrees F20 - All in all a good experience. Clear updates regarding shipping and arrived much quicker than expected. The free accessories came in another parcel and there was a only one shipping number so that was a little confusing but they did arrive unlike I see some other people say they didn't receive them As a novice bike rider I was worried that I would have to put it together but it was very simple. Just add seat, pedals and handlebars. Slotted in and tightened and tools included. Quality of bike probably better than I expected too. No complaints so far 😊
