Review Time
I am here more for educational purposes as i’ve been scammed by this saw practice years ago. It’s frustrating when someone in need is trying to apply for a loan when regular banks won’t give them a chance. I was frauded a couple years ago by a close friend therefore my score is very low. I know these tricks these companies do. First let me say to those of you who have reviewed and said “i didn’t authorize them to charge my card $1” obviously you did because you gave them your card info. Please always read the small print. It clearly says they will bill you a dollar then they will bill 39.99. i’m not blaming you, just please always read the fine print when someone asks for you credit card number. Nobody needs your credit card number to verify you either! especially if they say you can’t use chime or cash app or prepaid cards. That’s because they will stop the transaction as it’s from a foreign country or we all know it’s easy to turn off those cards for a while without the hassle of canceling and getting a new card. That’s why they want you to use your main bank cards. They know it’s a pain for us to do and easier to get money because your most likely to get money easier off someone’s real bank account over cash app. Always google the company. i’m personally ashamed at the program who even brought me to Finaceify. Google it and the first picture shows you the slums and not even a business address. Someday i pray these countries will stop preying on us hard working human beings. Anyone who works in the scam department, I don’t care if it’s how to feed your family, it’s wrong. you don’t take away food from one family so your family can eat. It was always come back to bite you two fold. Do something good for once and see what happens. All in all, don’t use this company. The 39.99 Charge is awful and no reason for it. I haven’t read one person who got a loan. just complaintstbey took their money but didn’t loan it. Very sad and pathetic.
Like others, I got SCAMMED by these guys into paying $1 on a debit card for what was supposed to be used "to verify identity ONLY".It wasn't until after I submitted the $1 that I became aware (because their terms/conditions don't appear until after you submit the $1) that this was nothing more that a deceptive, likely fraudulent attempt at scamming you out of $40 per month.I called on Monday to cancel this BOGUS membership and was told it would be and would receive a confirmation email "within 24 hours". I waited until Wednesday (nearly 48) hours and emailed them concerning this. I have yet to get a response to that email.Today, Thursday, I just got off the phone with them again. And of course the person I talked to this time says had no record of me cancelling my membership but "rest assured it will be taken care of now" and wanted me to wait another 24 hour period for a confirmation email. I told them they had 1 hour to get it to me.FYI: I have seen the replies to the reviews here by this so-called company. Couple of things: first their statement that the website clearly describes the service is COMPLETELY false. It doesn't. You see nothing about a subscription until AFTER you give them your card number and they charge the $1 and you get an email about it. Additionally, the page they say you can contact them on in their response to reviews, does not have the contact form they speak of, does not get you in touch with the Customer Support manager (directly or indirectly as they indicate), and has nothing but broken links on it.These folks are intentionally deceptive with not only what they do to "get you" initially, but also with their responses to these reviews. NONE of what they say in their responses to these reviews is accurate or true. It is ALL 100% complete intentional lies and false statements.UPDATE:Over this past weekend (9/20 or 9/21) this FRAUDULENT company tried to take $40 from my account even AFTER I had been assured over the phone that the subscription was cancelled and there would be no transactions. Thankfully, I had already notified my bank about this PROVEN SCAM and they stopped the transaction from going through (the bank did NOT charge me either).Today, I got a call from a supposed supervisor (who was supposed to call me back last Thursday). All she tried to do was justify the DECEPTIVE technique they use to scam you out of your money. She couldn't even tell me what they were actually charging $40 a month for other than to say "helpful tools" (these helpful tools amount to nothing more than you can utilize for free with Credit Karma by the way).UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should anyone give this fraudulent company their information and for certain do not give them your bank debit card number. This is one of those times when you wish TrustPilot had at minimum a ZERO star rating but even better yet a way to rate with a negative number.Do not give them the opportunity to scam you out of your money. Steer clear of them and their website.ANOTHER UPDATE:As you can see all they have done with their reply to my review is "copy/paste" what they have put on all the other negative reviews. It is pretty clear they don't bother to read the reviews since they always respond with the same "form letter" reply and do NOTHING to fix the problem (of course they do nothing - they don't want to fix the problem - they don't think there is one - their SCAM is working perfectly).I also received a request (via TrustPilot) as follows:"You’ve written a review for Financeify, and they’ve asked for more details to better understand your experience. If you provide some extra information within 3 days, it’ll help them recognize your experience and respond. If we don’t hear from you, the company may not be able to recognize your review as genuine."How can a "non-genuine" so-called company recognize anything as genuine? My review very well explains my experience with these fraud artists and is not too much different than what other people have experienced.
I got tricked into signing up for this and immediately emailed their “customer service” email to cancel, and then they sent a $1 test charge on card and then a $39.95 charge. Now I am having to cancel my card and try to figure out how to get my information off this site.
Random 39.95 charge. No emails about subscription. I login and see that I don’t even have a subscription AT ALL so I can’t cancel it because I don’t have it. On top of this I can’t remove my debt card info. And the cherry on top is I can’t delete my account.
I noticed the $1.00 trial membership fee to Financeify charged to my account on 8/20/2025. The very next day, I called to cancel as I did not want this subscription. Thought everything was handled, but today (8/27/205) there was a posting of $39.95 on my credit card from Financeify. I immediately called the number and was told that there was no record that I contacted them to cancel (even though I know I did and they say that the phone calls are recorded when you call in). I was informed that they could only issue a refund of 75% of the charge posted. I will fight this as I called prior to the trial membership end date. I have asked to be escalated to a supervisor/manager. I would not recommend EVER doing business with this company.
I don't agree with any contract this company so why y'all try to swipe my card 39.99 I just file fraud with my bank on y'all I am in military and I have military bank and going do back ground check on y'all and file case against y'all
I am beyond frustrated. I saw a 1.00 charge on my debit card on 8/22. I immediately emailed customer service saying I wanted to cancel this membership I don’t remember agreeing to. The site says give them two days to reply. No reply checked spam nothing. Then last week a charge for 39.95. Again as soon as I see it send another email requesting to cancel and nothing back. I even put a stop payment on this vendor with my bank but it still got through.
