I am currently experiencing the same…

I am currently experiencing the same problems described. I immediately realized I had somehow been duped into a free trial. I emailed them, with name and, of course, email attached. They replied, but it had nothing to do with my problem. They didn’t even address it. Please stay away from this company.

This site is a scam

This site is a scam. They have been charging my card since May I didn't notice until I had to check my account and I had an overdraft fee from there 39 dollar payment. I never signed anything from these people to give them permission to charge my account nor do I have an account with them. I went to there website to sign in and they say I don't have an account so how in the hell have they been able to charge my account. They have been stealing money from me. This is messed up. I want my money back. I didn't want to leave a star but I had to to leave a review

They are refusing to reply to my email…

They are refusing to reply to my email about cancelling their free trial that I never signed up for. Charged me a dollar, now trying to charge $40 after a week trial. I email them every day, and get nothing back.

This is a scam

This is a scam. They charged me a fee of $40 that I did not authorize. VERY shady business practices.I went to the website to look up my account which I found however it says I have no subscriptions so I could not cancel anything. They charged me anyway with no way for me to cancel.

I never even applied for anything on…

I never even applied for anything on this site. I was directed by applying for a loan on a different site. It asked me for my bank info to charge a $1 fee to verify the bank. I never agreed to a $39.95 charge and never received anything via email--no loan money, no membership information. I called and they refused to refund the $39.95 so I am disputing the charges with my bank. Update: Financeify has agreed to refund me the $39.95 since I never received an email describing the trial period or what services they were offering. I was pleased with the second customer service response and have changed my rating to 3 stars. I am still concerned that I never got an email after checking my spam folder too.

Scammers charge you and pretend to be approving a loan!!!!

Got charged a $1 charge and a couple days later $39.95. I never agreed to these charges. Applied for a loan on another website and this site pops up and requests a card to deposit my funds. Never received a loan just these charges. These people are scammers. My bank automatically declined the $39.95. Guess they have had issues with theme in the past. Y’all need to be on in jail!!!!

SCAM! SCAM! SCAM!

I wouldn't even give a single star if it was an option. Ridiculous how this company preys on people who are already looking for financial help. The $1 fee was clear, the $39.95 and when it was going to be pulled out - WAS NOT. Also, good luck trying to cancel your subscription online - I tried and when I looked up my subscriptions via my phone number, it said I had none. Hmm...then what did you charge me for?! It wouldn't let me go back and try my email instead and continued to say I have no subscription and therefor I was unable to cancel it easily like their website faq statesComplete B.S. I have emailed customer service demanding a refund and I WILL be calling their number on the next business day. I am DISGUSTED by this company. If I don't receive a full refund, I WILL make sure everyone is aware of what a SCAM this company is! I'd also like to point out that they leave the same scripted response in comments to anyone who posts a poor review, asking them to verify that they are or were in fact a member. Why would anyone want to give you any more of their information?! UPDATE: 1) Tried to cancel online, was told by their website I didnt have a subscription...yet they charged me for it.2) Tried emailing customer service MANY times...email always got kicked back saying essentially its not a valid email address or it "couldn't connect" 3) Called customer service...was initially very calm and asking simply for the subscription to be canceled.... was SPOKEN OVER many times as they tried to convince me to stay with it for at least a month...had to ask MULTIPLE times to simply cancel it...Only finally was told they'll cancel it once I got overly firm in my response. Disgusted is not a powerful enough word to describe how I feel after this experience.

Much like the previous posts

Much like many of the previous posts, the company states that a credit or debit card is required for verification and then charges the card $1 and sends you an email that the $1 is a processing fee for a 7 day trial. This is very misleading and I have filed a complaint with the MA Attorney General's Office.

Financeify preys on people seeking personal loans

I applied for a loan on OpenPayDay and was told that I would be connected to a lender. However, instead I was sent to a page on Financeify which says, "Hi XXXX, your Personal Loan is almost done!". Below that is a form to enter my credit card details along with the caption, "We use Debit or Credit card to verify your identity." It also shows a progress indicator 2/2 steps completed as well as a button at the bottom of the page "Get Approved Now" to submit the form.Between the headline, the caption, the status indicator, and the submit button, any reasonable person would conclude that this identity verification is the final step for a loan application. However, it turns out that Financeify has nothing to do with with the loan application process, despite what the checkout page suggests. Instead of getting approved for a loan (as the submit button suggests), customers are conned into signing up for Financeify's budget planning guides and money-saving tips. Such deceptive marketing tactics, including misrepresenting the services offered, is a violation of state and federal consumer protection laws.Financeify, of course, denies that they are misleading customers, asserting that the services offered, including any fees, are adequately described at the time of purchase. However, U.S. courts have held that payment terms for online services must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed during checkout. Using bold headlines to describe a service that contradicts the fine print agreement is illegal.A company cannot insinuate that identity verification is necessary for a loan application, only to describe the service in tiny print as instead being a monthly membership for financial planning guides. That constitutes consumer fraud.Reference the 2022 class action lawsuit "Quamina et al. v. JustAnswer LLC" for a similar example.Edit: Financeify responsds: "Our website clearly describes the service we offer, the initial one dollar trial period and subscription costs thereafter. All customers must positively agree to these through a series of tick boxes prior to their application being accepted and processed."If it were so clearly described on the website, there wouldn't be so many 1-star reviews on TrustPilot from people claiming they were misled and deceived about applying for a loan. This company feigns that they want to engage with customers while being completely oblivious to the concerns of customers.Add to the fact, I did not see a series of tickboxes on the payment page. So perhaps the company doesn't know how their own website works, which wouldn't be surprising at this point.

Scammers!!!! I was notified by my bank account that they declined a purchase for $40. I will be reporting them to the BBB. This is unacceptable.
