I have been here for 1.4 years since August 2024, and it has been a terrible experience; this place feels like a trauma farm. There's one teacher who is consistently condescending and treats me and my sibling differently than other students. The other teachers are much nicer and more supportive. At home, things are even worse; I often stay up very late (until 1 AM), and then this same teacher gets upset about the quality and quantity of my work. What do they expect? I'm exhausted from this situation. It's also quite expensive, and it feels like a waste of my parents' money, but they refuse to listen to my concerns. Additionally, I wait a long time to have my work graded. Overall, this has been a very disappointing experience, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. This is a genuine review based on my real-life experiences, but I’m likely to be ignored.

The tutoring services provided by Dr Samim are outstanding. Her extensive knowledge and experience are evident in everything she does with my daughters. They actually enjoy attending, which is surprising since they didn't connect with previous tutors! My eldest is now preparing for her GCSEs and feels comfortable asking for help in any areas where she struggles. As a mother, I feel confident knowing she is in excellent hands. My youngest is preparing for her 11+ entrance exam, and Dr Samim's commitment to her program is unparalleled. Given the competitiveness of the school, early preparation was essential for us. I'm grateful to have been referred by family who also attend her center. Every moment spent here is worthwhile, and I would recommend it without hesitation.
I have a complaint about this learning center. We initially joined during Covid when it was well-managed and supportive under the previous owner. Unfortunately, since the ownership change, it has deteriorated and is now unrecognizable. The environment feels chaotic and is far from what it used to be. I was treated poorly, as if my input as a parent didn't matter. This attitude is unacceptable. The first five years were fantastic; my daughter excelled in her exams due to the support she received. What was once a nurturing environment has sadly turned into a major disappointment. Parents should be treated with respect, not dismissed.
This has been the most unprofessional place I have ever encountered, especially when working with children. I'm shocked. The Lewisham branch presents great expectations for your child's education, but my son's first lesson was merely an assessment. At the end, I was told there wasn't time to grade it, but it would be done by the next session. In the following lesson, it still wasn't graded, and my son said the staff just shouted at him while he waited to learn. After that lesson, I informed the staff that my son would not be returning, as the environment wasn't suitable for him. I was then told that if he left, the cost would increase should he wish to return, and I was charged an additional £100 for his departure. This was shocking, and I was later texted to pay immediately, as they didn’t like being ignored. I would not recommend this branch to anyone.
I enrolled my daughter at this center, and if it were possible, I would give a zero-star rating. A major issue was the accuracy of her work; incorrect answers were marked as correct, and when I raised this, it was brushed off as a 'human error.' For a paid service, this is unacceptable. Additionally, there was a lack of transparency regarding payments, as I never received invoices despite multiple requests. After seven months of waiting, I still got nothing. I was also told that the person who graded the work was distracted, which I find odd. Communication was poor, with no notification about missed lessons, and we were charged for sessions that weren't attended. This whole situation has been a nightmare.
The quality of teaching and customer service at this center is outstanding. My children have been attending since 2017, and Dr Samim and her highly qualified team have supported us through each step, from 11+ to A-levels. My daughter has developed strong study habits, and as a mother, I couldn't be happier with the support we've received. The customer service is reliable and professional, always exceeding my expectations. I highly recommend this center to any parent looking for a solid academic foundation. I truly believe my children's educational journey has been greatly enhanced by Dr Samim's guidance and expertise. I'm grateful to have such a dedicated mentor in our lives.
