Hugh assisted me, and from the moment I walked in, the service was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to understand what I was looking for, explained the different options clearly, and made sure I chose a running machine that suited my needs. Highly recommend this shop — and definitely ask for Hugh!

I purchased a Schwinn 800IC Indoor Cycle from Fitness Superstore on 31 January 2024, delivered 1 February 2024.

On 6 February 2026, just five days after the warranty expired, the console began freezing mid-workout. The backlight remains on, but the display locks and becomes unusable. The issue now occurs within eight minutes of riding, making the bike effectively unreliable.

Since reporting this problem, I have:

• Submitted multiple support tickets
• Spoken to at least four different representatives
• Provided receipt and video evidence
• Been redirected between companies

Despite all of this, no one has taken responsibility.

I have been passed between Schwinn, Johnson Health, and the retailer. Each points elsewhere. No goodwill gesture. No flexibility. No ownership.

This is a premium indoor training bike. A console failure days outside warranty, combined with zero discretion or customer care, is extremely disappointing.

Electronics can fail. That is understandable.

What is not understandable is the complete lack of accountability when a product fails virtually at the point of warranty expiry.

At this stage, I am paying to repair (£142) the bike myself because meaningful support has not been offered.

If you are considering this brand or retailer, be aware that once the warranty period ends, even by a matter of days, you may find yourself entirely on your own.

That has been my experience.

Nice looking bench with thick padding but it’s very unstable and quite off putting when you’re training , I thought I’d upgraded but my previous bench is more stable than this 1 , seems like they need to sort some spacers out to soak up the slack from the seat stop it wobbling about when you’re pressing , guess this is the chance you take when you buy online , if I’d seen it beforehand I wouldn’t of purchased it

Excellent assistance from the team during our search for a spin bike

We received outstanding assistance from the team while searching for a spin bike for the winter months when we couldn't ride our mountain bikes. After explaining what we needed, they helped us find the Matrix spin bike, which we had previously noted as a possibility online. We were able to test it in-store, and they addressed all our questions about maintenance and support. The price for the bike was very reasonable, and we even received an additional 10% discount during the January sale. Delivery was scheduled promptly, with an order confirmation sent via email within 15 minutes. A few hours later, we received notification of the delivery for Friday, and it arrived as promised. My husband assembled the bike using the clear instructions provided, and all necessary tools and parts were neatly organized in sealed and numbered sections corresponding to the assembly guide. We've been using the bike for over a week now and are very satisfied with its performance. It works seamlessly with the free app.

Mixed feelings about the service and installation.

In-store, we had no complaints about the representative. He was knowledgeable, patiently guided us through the options, was not overly aggressive in sales, provided product details, was willing to discuss pricing, and was very friendly. The purchasing experience was quite enjoyable, and all the staff were genuinely helpful. However, we were significantly disappointed with the quality of the installation that we paid a considerable amount for, particularly due to the failure to level a heavy piece of equipment. When we bought the cross trainer, I specifically inquired whether the installation team was trained to ensure proper leveling, as I wanted to avoid just delivery personnel assembling the equipment. I was assured that leveling was a crucial part of the installation and that the installers were adequately trained. Yet, at the end of the installation, when I asked if it was leveled, I was told, “we don’t do that, we are just delivery drivers who assembled the item.” The driver then showed me how to level it myself. Considering the significant fee charged for “Next Day Premium Installation,” it seems there is a clear disconnect between the seller and the installation team, leaving us feeling disappointed as customers.
