I noticed funpay has better deals than competitors for accounts I was interested in, after checking reviews it made me suspicious because of the bad ones. I still decided to go through after contacting seller directly, everything was smooth. The delivery was automatic and seller answered all of my questions. After getting the account the seller has't tried to "take it back" or such. Of course this is just my experience and very seller-specific to say. Ultimately, a seller with many reviews and a long registration date can be considered trusted as with any website.

I made a purchase on the platform, and the seller scammed me: the payment was transferred, but the item was never delivered. I contacted FunPay support and provided all possible evidence (screenshots of the conversation with the seller and support team, order logs), but received only a standard template response:• FunPay officially states that they are not a party to the deal between buyer and seller, and therefore they do not compensate losses.• They offered to refund only the service fee that FunPay takes from each transaction — which is just a tiny part of the total amount.• All further “resolution” depends solely on whether the scammer will ever top up their account again. In reality, the seller who scammed me has no motivation to return anything.Throughout the conversation, support repeatedly told me:“We understand your concern, but you must wait indefinitely. Once the seller’s balance is replenished, we will reopen the order and resolve the issue. We are monitoring the accounts and will notify you of any changes.”In other words, FunPay shifts the responsibility entirely onto the scammer, leaving the buyer without any protection.I have a full set of evidence: screenshots, the seller’s messages, support responses, and order logs confirming the fraud.To summarize:• FunPay holds the money and advertises itself as a “secure transaction platform,” yet provides no real protection.• Buyers may lose both their money and their item, while scammers easily continue working from new accounts.• Support responds strictly with templates, does not solve real problems, and only refers to internal policies.I am posting this review to warn others:be cautious and do not rely on FunPay to protect your funds.
