They arrived an hour late, which caused issues because the building wouldn't allow us to finish the move due to the expired elevator reservation. Ironically, they needed another hour. I ended up being charged for an extra day plus storage fees, and my expensive furniture was damaged. Additionally, they took my moving dollies and haven't compensated me for anything.
I can't recommend Fusion Movers enough. They were timely, professional, and accommodating. Andrew was great at scheduling the move with little notice. The actual movers, Daniel and Dimitri were very careful with the furniture, and were pleasant to deal with.
BUYER BEWARE: Genuinely awful experience led by thieves. Your belongings will be held hostage and if it not for the police, these thugs would have stolen our furniture!!We were provided an estimate for the MAX hours our small move would require and were reassured that we would only pay for the time spent. Upon arrival at the pickup location, the foreman immediately balked at our inventory and suggested our move would not meet the five hours he had been 'contracted for.' I explained we had a lot of moving to do once at home, and the job was much bigger than the items he could see. He loaded our things and demanded payment for the entire five-hour estimate upon arriving at the home, refusing to unload until full payment was made. I immediately called the police and with their support, the movers unloaded the furniture. They then abandoned the job, refusing to move items, recycle our refrigerators, or help organize the home. They worked for about an hour and demanded $600, which I absolutely denied. The movers were shady, exercised harassment, and tried to hold our items hostage for a payment they didn't earn. I will be submitting a complaint against their license for corrupt business practices and recommend avoiding hiring these crooks at all costs!Read less
