Love the products but please please do something about the packaging. When it's fragile e.g.glass the packaging is totally insufficient. First order was smashed to pieces. It was sorted very efficiently however when the replacement i ordered came the packaging again was really minimal. Luckily it wasn't broken the second time. I was very surprised. This really needs to be looked into please
I was looking for a specific product which seems to have been discontinued by a large, online garden centre (X). I was so pleased to discover that GardenCentre (GC) had them in stock, as well as the widely available smaller version. Before placing the order however, I contacted GC by phone to double-check and laboured the point of why I needed the large ones. They assured me they had both sizes in stock and plenty of the ones I was looking for. I presumed they were held in GC's warehouse. Both were listed as separate items on their website which again suggested they were different sized products. I placed the order, my first with them, but when they arrived, they were the smaller size and instead of coming from GC, they had been sent by X. Despite making thorough checks beforehand it turned out to be a total waste of time for me. That said, GC's customer care department are really nice people to deal with and they have assured me that I will get a full refund and the wrong items will be collected at no cost to me. It turns out GC are a sister company of Robert Dyas, a reputable company. It's just a shame that the product listing on their website was the cause of the issue, which hopefully will be updated to prevent the same happening to another customer.
