Used Gatwick Parking on numerous occasions now and never been disappointed. Easy to find, easy to park, easy to access the airport and easy to get the car when you arrive back. Makes the experience so less stressful!!
Total confusion even before parking , just trying to use their website.
Says pre-book short stay car park for cheaper prices.
Yet despite every effort it would only let me have the whole day and charge me the rate for a full day.
And then to add a little bit more fun to the situation, when it asked for my flight, it was posted as one hour before my ticket from BA said.
Just what you want a little bit of anxiety to start your holiday, so contacted BA they’re 100% sure that the time hasn’t changed, and assured me they would send me an email if the time did change.
My first time using Gatwick Airport, guess what? I haven’t even been there yet and I don’t wanna go again.
Simple, straight forward and great value. Everything is done online, drive in on day of arrival & and drive out on day of departure. Regular shuttle busses too and from terminals.

Have used Purple VIP Parking at Gatwick for years. Always a great experience and 5 min covered walk to departures - no more parking miles away and waiting for the shuttle bus in the early hours of the morning. Arrive at the airport. check in car and within minutes are checking in for our flight. No hassles.
We use the long term North terminal car parking, simple road access and when on site quick and easy to park up. Service buses are frequent and they take extremely good care when you are travelling with disabled people and need access with a wheelchair
While leaving, the barrier wouldn't lift and indicated an outstanding payment. However, after discussing the issue with the assistant, I learned that I had mistakenly entered 00:00 for the exit date, which referred to the previous day. Fortunately, they didn't charge me, provided some helpful advice, and lifted the barrier. I will definitely use this parking facility again.
The booking process, value for money, and flexibility are all commendable. However, it was not clearly communicated at the airport that the Mid Stay is a new parking facility. It seemed more like an extension of the short stay option, especially since it highlighted the short walk to the terminal that I am familiar with from the short stay. As someone who doesn't use this service often, I was completely unaware of the new car park's existence—please provide clearer information for infrequent users!
This was my first experience with airport parking, and as an older individual, I had some concerns. However, I found I had no reason to worry. The parking area was well-marked and easy to find. The parking spots were spacious, and the bus stop was conveniently located with a quick bus service. The return trip to the parking area was equally straightforward. Excellent service. Thank you!
The entrance and exit are straightforward, yet finding a parking spot is quite a challenge. I spent 20 minutes circling around in search of a space. It appears that a significant portion of the parking is reserved for staff and premium users. If parking availability can't be ensured, perhaps selling these spots isn't the best approach?
The parking and surrounding area are well illuminated. However, I faced an issue when returning from a long flight; I forgot which zone I was in. The transport bus driver was extremely rude to me, and I felt insulted by his attitude when I didn't know the zone and he had to inquire about my drop-off location.
