Overall, I'm happy with my purchase from Gear4music. They have a fantastic selection of gear, and I found a great deal on a audio interface that was cheaper than other sites. The ordering process was smooth. My only real complaint is the shipping; it took nearly a week to arrive, and the tracking information wasn't updated for a couple of days. The product itself is perfect and well-packaged, so I'd probably order from them again, just allowing extra time for delivery.

GearMusic – unprofessional, evasive, and disrespectful to customersI placed an order worth over €600 and waited for a full month with no clear updates. Eventually, I had to reach out myself to discover the delay was due to a missing €3 cable. Nobody informed me, offered a substitution, or suggested partial shipment. Only after I contacted them did they replace it with some cheap, unrequested alternative.Communication was minimal and vague. They replied, yes – but with no concrete solutions and always trying to avoid taking responsibility or offering any compensation.The promised delivery on the 23rd never happened. After further pressure, they shipped it on the 24th via DHL Express – and I ended up being charged €140 in unexpected shipping, customs, and tax fees that were never disclosed at checkout.I submitted a compensation request and even selected additional items worth €550, offering to settle with a 40–50% discount for the stress and delays. It’s been a week now – total silence. No reply, no explanation.GearMusic has shown zero accountability and customer care. Shopping with them feels like a gamble. No transparency. No respect. No thanks. Strongly not recommended.
I recently ordered a Roland portable keyboard and accessories. I paid the full amount on 31 March. I paid for a bespoke delivery day. I have been messed around and let down twice. Gear4Music blame Arrow Couriers. Arrow claim to have not received the goods.I have phoned Gear4Music a number of times and spoken to 4 different staff members. Whilst they are pleasant, the problem is not solved. They have my money. I have no goods and have wasted a lot of time.I asked to speak to senior management at Gear4Music and am still waiting for that call.I am therefore posting this honest account of my experience. It gives me no pleasure to do this.
The microphone stand accessory tray arrived on the expected daybut unfortunately the packing was broken and an important screw adjuster for sliding out the tray was missing. Luckily I have an assortment of screws that I could search and find a replacement.The product had obviously been roughly handled by the courier. Maybe better packing might help with such a product.
