Stephen opperman educated us on how to calculate how much we need to retire the way we want, showed us how to achieve our short term, and long term goals, and linked us to great services that help improve financial health. I would avoid this crowd. I had a Zoom Meeting with the Vice President on 22nd April. It lasted about 90 minutes long and finished with me needing to supply some further information. I felt throughout that there was disappointment from Genistar's side that I wasn't massively in debt. I supplied the information and a further Zoom meeting was scheduled for 29th April. I sat, waiting for about 10 minutes and them messaged the Vice President only to get a reply that he'd forgotten and was at a company meeting in London (at 8:30pm!!). I took it on the chin and asked he let me know when he was next available. I heard nothing back so emailed on 13th May. I've still heard nothing back. Like I say, I feel it was because they possibly thought they couldn't make a massive amount of money out of me. Still, it would have been nice to have heard back from them. I've also heard from colleagues that have done business that there is quite a hard sell to buy their product. Personally I'd avoid this company and look for someone that meets when they say they'll meet, and responds when you get in touch. UPDATE 31/05/24.
