Tried tracking a package. Dialed their number as there was an update that needed clarification. Their chat online yielded no response and the number connected to a south African freight company. No number works aside that and even the advertised whatsapp number has no whatsapp account

Several lost packages over the course…

Several lost packages over the course of the past few years. While running a e-commerce from Ghana, Ghana post has made it literally unprofitable to continue. Causing record high chargebacks due to lost package and extremely poor customer service. It's WhatsApp management ignores messages when they can't recover a package and do not make it possible to file insurance claims for lost items which is paid for. This is truly a 3rd world uncivilized structure they have. No professionalism and agents seem to never understand simple issues and seem very uneducated. Ghana is failing is too many areas to be 2025.

Bad Service

I made an order from ali express and it got delivered to Ghana Post Kwabenya for over 3 weeks I've been telling the person who calls me to pick up that I stay at Agbogba and go to work in Accra-ministries so I prefer delivery being made to me. Only to be told that they don't offer delivery services and that if I don't pick up the item will be returned. This is why I don't use the post office in ordering I always use speedaf and it gets delivered to my doorstep. I don't know why it got delivered to Ghana post

Very bad and irresponsible institution…

Very bad and irresponsible institution in this country. You could keep a passport which is so crucial for more than a week and would not even respond when you chat or call them. I think this institution needs to be sued according to their own act 504 1995 section 41. Very irresponsible

Ghana Post workers deserve better working conditions.

I recently visited the Teshie Nungua Post Office to send a package via EMS. I was impressed by the professionalism and customer service of the Ghana Post agent, but I was equally surprised by the poor condition of the facility. Located along the main Teshie Road, the post office faces significant challenges due to its open-door setup. The constant noise from passing vehicles makes it difficult to hear the agent or hold a conversation. Moreover, the open door allows heat, dust, and pollution to enter, creating an uncomfortable environment for both customers and staff. I can only imagine how challenging it must be for the employees to work there for hours, enduring these conditions. To improve the experience for both workers and customers, I would strongly recommend installing an air conditioning system and keeping the doors closed. This would not only create a more comfortable and healthier environment but also enhance the overall efficiency and professionalism of the service. Also, please buy better chairs for your agents to avoid back or joint pains.
