Shipping costs similar to product costs In my opinion outrageous! The shipping number is 2124508105 Catawiki Japanese seller. The seller seems to not want anything to do with the shipping. The blame,in my opinion lies with DHL and their ridiculously high shipping costs in this instance.
I ordered four pieces of furniture which were scheduled to be delivered by DHL. The first two packages arrived (bookshelves so you can imagine how heavy). The driver rang the intercom and when we answered to let him in - no response. I rushed to our first floor balcony only to see the driver getting into his van to drive away. I called out him to ask what was happening and he simply pointed to the main entrance to the building where he had left my two, 23kg-a-piece packages. He promptly drove off. I had my phone and recorded this. Sent it to DHL… no response. Chased for a response a week later- again nothing. My 2nd delivery was just found outside when I returned from work. I did not sin for it but online it’s stated that I signed for it. My final delivery… delivered today … again I found it standing against a wall outside my block of flats (in the rain) for anyone to take. Ironically right next to a sign from the residents asking couriers not to leave parcels outside due to high rate of theft! Again online it says I signed for it 4 hours earlier!! I will be complaining to the original vendor about using DHL. Not only did they leave my purchased outside in the rain for any one to steal but they lied online about me having accepted the delivery (when I was not even home) and have done zero about my first complaint.
I was kept regularly informed about my parcel thought the DHL express app - the CS is very efficient , helpful and friendly as I had to contact them for information and help ! My parcels were delivered safely ! My courier was extremely helpful kind and friendly! Parcel delivered with great care as it carried fragile items and nothing was damaged !!I recommend DHL as I have never been disappointed so far !A big thank you !!!
