I ordered a furniture in Nimara and CHOSE Tuesday as a HOME delivery day! Tuesday i haven't received any information sms/email from GLS that they will deliver Wednesday instead! So I waited Tuesday and Wednesday I have work so I was not home! If they told me they will delivery Wednesday instead then we have sorted things out! I called them Wednesday after receiving the failed delivery. The woman i called told me they will deliver MONDAY instead because I am HOME! now I received a noticed that GLS delivered 1 put 4 of packages to pakkeshop! Why they are not they delivering whole of the furniture !? And delivered some parts of it to pakkeshop instead of HOME delivery i have chosen! 20kg of a furniture I cant transport it as im 6mos pregnant! The woman in DEPOT (I'm guessing based on her voice she's of old age 40- 60yo) gls i contacted that it is not their mistake in their part!? How come I chose HOME DELIVERY and distribute furniture into 4 packages and deliver 20kg part of it and it's a large furniture to a pakkeshop? I told her they need to correct their mistake! She said she cant help me and it is not their mistake! I told her the rest of the delivery company they have a tracking number and most of them inform the recipient that they will deliver it on the day of HOME DELIVERY! BUT I DIDNT RECEIVE ANY MESSAGES FROM GLS DRIVER OR WHAT I WAITED TUESDAY HOME NO ONE CAME AND SUDDENLY THEY JUST SENT ME A MESSAGE WEDNESDAY AND TODAY THAT THEY CANT DELIVER AND PUT IT IN A PAKKESHOP WITHOUT ME INFORMING BEFOREHAND? THE WOMAN WAS UNHELPFUL AND RUDE SHE KNOWS I AM DISAPPOINTED AND TOLD HER I CANT PICK UP A HEAVY BIG FURNITURE IN PAKKESHOP TO MY PLACE PLUS IM PREGNANT AND NOBODY TO ASK FOR HELP INSTEAD OF PAYING SOMEONE TO DO IT. WHAT KIND OF SERVICE U HAVE U MADE A MISTAKE SO IT'S THE CUSTOMERS PROBLEM U WONT CORRECT YOUR MISTAKE IN UR PART? SHE TOLD ME WE ARE NOT BRING WE ARE NOT POSTNORD I CANT HELP YOU. I'm upset with this kind of service instead of using their services to help people they give stress to people! If there are any other options in the delivery I won't chose GLS! AND I WOULD NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND GLS TO ANYONE I KNOW AND TO PEOPLE READING THIS. plus this is not the 1st time I encountered so bad service from this company.
I made an order in online shop and in 2 days I have received my parcel, despite of it was Saturday. Bravo GLS, very good job! More reliable company than Postnord, no delay.
It's unbelievable how a delivery person can spoil your day. I opened the door for the delivery person, and he left without delivering my package. When I contacted the support team to explain the issue, they said there was nothing they could do and that the package had been returned to the warehouse. I ordered multiple items, and now I have no way to transport them home despite paying for delivery. This is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your customer service!
I ordered ice skates in December, sent from overseas, and cleared customs by the 29th. For some unknown reason, they were redirected and are still there. The support team is unhelpful, and as of January 9th, I'm still waiting. I strongly advise against using this service.
The parcel was dropped in the GLS shop on 02/01. For several days nothing happens, until the sender on 7/01 goes to the shop and is told that the package is in the lost and found area and that the label fell off the package. Another day goes by without any change in package status, until the receiver calls to ask for explanations. Same story provided from GLS, but in the afternoon of the same day (08/01) finally something happens and parcel is shipped. If it is true that label fell off, there was ZERO proactiveness from GLS to re-print it and re-attach it. Unacceptable.
