Overall great experience.
The coaches were all knowledgeable and provided several useful approaches to trading, risk management, automation, psychology, etc.
My singular quibble is that the plan was too unstructured to start, though they have been improving that drastically thought fantastic customer services people like Hanna B. I paid for the six months of mentoring and still felt like I could have used more, but that is because I kept trying new things.

I wrote a review previously for Goat Academy when Patrick Rooney and Byung Kim were coaches and were a part of the system, but they have since left Felix.

I have pluses and minuses about Felix‘s system, and so I’m going to take some time from an honest perspective and give you both sides of the story. I often feel that these reviews are given by people who are paid to lie and give good reviews, simply so that other users like you can go on trust pilot and read those positive reviews.

So I will start with the positive side.

First, the individual COACHING that I received was absolutely amazing! I started with a different Trading program and I learned absolutely nothing about credit spreads, but only about selling puts! Essentially the wheel system. Which there’s nothing wrong with the wheel system except for when the stock that you now have been assigned to drops almost 80% in price as happened with Paypal, which I took a massive loss on even after trying to manage cost averaging down.

So from a perspective of actually learning a credit spread and how to manage risk, this was extremely helpful and I am forever. Grateful for having to learn learned that from my two coaches.

That’s where the positive side of this entire system ends.

I don’t know exactly what Felix is teaching these days, but what he was teaching back in 2023 in the beginning of 2024, was to place credit spreads 45 days out on both sides – calls and puts – at 30 Delta and then essentially hoping for the best we would close those credit spreads at approximately 21 days out and maybe you had earned half of the amount of profit that was available. I understand his thinking. There is extreme volatility when it is less than 21 days. However, there’s also freakish amounts of volatility, 45 days out! Have you taken a look lately at what has happened to both spy and QQQ in the last 45 days? Freakish amounts of volatility, and I can’t imagine placing trades 45 days out and hoping for the best!

That simply is not a system that is going to produce long-term income.

Not only that, but Felix personally messaged me and told me to hold onto my Paypal position! Thankfully, I did not listen to him and I got rid of Paypal when it was at $93.

Felix, are you still promoting PayPal as a great investment?

So if you have no idea how to trade, how to place an order, how to do a credit spread, then maybe this would be a good place to start but honestly there are so many other good trading platforms out there that cost half of what Felix is charging. At least when I was a part of it, it was ridiculously expensive. I have no idea how much he costs now.

Not only that, but two of the very best coaches could barely stand to work with him. He was never available for consultations. They tried several times to set up Zoom calls that he would not show up to. All I heard about was how terrible he was at communicating with the people who are actually doing the coaching. Is this the kind of leader that you want to be following into a very risky business like Trading Options? I don’t think so.

Again, I want to emphasize that I did learn a considerable amount about some basics of which I had no idea how to manage or how to place. However, there are simple videos available for free on YouTube that you can watch that will teach you exactly the same thing and you don’t need to spend all that money.

I’ve read a lot of the positive reviews and quite honestly, it sounds like a bunch of prescriptive crap from people that were paid to say positive stuff about this system.

Obviously, I am not one of them.

I wish you the best in trying to find a coach to teach you how to trade. There are a lot of scams out there, so please be careful!

I'm currently a student of the goat academy. I came into the academy already profitable as an investor/trader over a 5 year period. I became interested in it by watching Felix You Tube videos. The mentors are great and the program is excellent. Some of my favorites were WSP and individual mentors were Carlos, Elliot, Jesus and Matt. Spent the most time individually with Jae because he really listens to my crazy insights about the market. He is also very good. He would be best for students with experience and focus on medium term trading. Spent some time in the beginning with I believe Giancarlo but I might be wrong about the name who communicated a lot of useful information about my personal journey and the market. There are a lot of experienced great mentors and I have only utilized the skills of a few. One thing you will figure out is that they all trade differently. This helped me to determine that as an eclectic investor/trader from long term, options and day trading, I might need a little more focus depending on the market because sometimes you can't see the forest for.the trees. Felix and his insights are the overall picture or the forest. The goat academy provides you with the mentors or trees that teach you how to trade based on technicals, fundamentals, and their individual styles. BK is also good at overall and diversification.Brett will help with anything you ask. I wish I would have utilized him more in options trading but I still can. The one thing I could say that it would improve the platform is a more individual approach to navigating it since it can be quite overwhelming when entering the goat academy. The platform is definitely always improving to help a new student navigate it. One of the reasons I had joined was because I actually wanted a break for a bit because you can never take a week off of the stock market. You need to realize they aren't giving trades but teaching you how to figure it out yourself which is invaluable although time consuming. Before entering I would advise that you have enough time for what's ahead. If you are a beginner, make sure you allocate enough time. Possibly starting on a vacation from work or have the ability to really dedicate yourself on nights and weekends. If you are experienced, it will still take quite a bit of time to get to the next level.I recommend at least a few days to determine what you need how to navigate it in the beginning. Determine what your goals are and what you need to learn more about before or at least when you enter the program. As a career psychotherapist that has been on hiatus for several years and enjoys her freedom, I havent worked a nine to five in awhile and use 2 cell phones to trade. A reacquaintance with a laptop would have been useful for me before entering. Lol. As a woman that takes care of everything in her financial life and otherwise, I admit I have not utilized this program as well as I could have thus far but it has helped me improve very much by classes and mentor teaching. Even learning about how AI can be utilized by Carlos to gather information quickly in fundamentals, technicals and news. He is also very good at determining whether the fundamentals are there for a stock in which you might be interested. I continue to appreciate Felix and what he does for the retail trader so we aren't blind to market manipulation and to remember the importance of sectors and what's going on in the world. Just based on Felix's brilliant insights and generosity and sharing what is going on with the common man, the goat academy is worth it. However with mentor teaching you get so much more to navigate the market successfully. The platform makes a point of improving to help us on our personal journeys in the stock market.

Disappointing Interaction with the Representative

I just finished a call with a representative described as the leader's “right-hand man.” To put it simply: it was awkward, unproductive, and managed to achieve both. The conversation quickly started with a passive-aggressive comment. Although it was corrected right away, the tone lingered. What followed was a barrage of familiar analogies and comments about how my learning objectives were “insufficient,” delivered with a confidence typically reserved for those who have actually taken the time to inquire about what those objectives are. I joined the call to ask practical questions and see where I might fit as a student within the organization. I provided several opportunities to discuss that. The representative didn’t seem particularly interested. Instead, I faced remarks like, “couldn’t you have looked that up beforehand?” which is an odd tactic for a call supposedly aimed at exploring a potential fit, especially since the representative was, at least in principle, trying to win me over as a client. After about 20 minutes, I decided to end the call. I had signed up for a masterclass later today, but after experiencing the “right-hand man” interaction, I’ll be opting out of the full experience. No hard feelings… just no value.

Exceptional Course for Financial Success

The director of the academy has created an outstanding all-around course aimed at achieving financial success. Most importantly, his motivation stems from a genuine wish to see others thrive. Reading his story provides valuable insight. Personally, I have gained a lot from this experience. He offers a significant amount of advice for free. The course continues to expand and evolve in its offerings. The mentors conduct daily classes that, combined with the course content, make the investment worthwhile. Thank you for your dedication; it’s uncommon for someone in your role to extend such support to help others navigate the complexities of financial life.

Felix teaches how to fish not just gives you a sandwhich.

Felix, the director of the goat academy, has developed the best all-around course for achieving financial success. First and most important, his motivation originates from a sincere desire to help people succeed. Read his story to understand. I personally have achieved much. He gives a great deal of his advice for free. The course is constantly growing and increasing in its scope. The mentors give daily classes that, along with the course material, justify the cost. Thank you, Felix. It is rare for someone in your position to put themselves out to help others survive in our financial jungle.

Do not waste your time and money

Felix offers thoughtful and educational information. Several of the coaches are very good. However, the Goat Academy itself is a mess. Beginning with the website which contains random information, poorly laid out, old, irrelevant, repetitive and a waste of time. There is no thoughtful syllabus of the programto guide students through the program or a "training program" which would include the spreadsheets used, links to trainings, etc. It is sold as offering highly experienced mentors who are frequently unavailable and some who have little experience. It's also sold as taking a couple hours a week rather than 8-10 hours a week. "Events" designed to be a big part of the training are often delayed or cancelled. It's not intended to be a rip off, just little to no attention to detail of the actual training program and assuring that students are trained. The website is probably the worst I've seen.the "training" roadmap is offered at the end of a bunch of training videos rather at the beginning and is sloppy, thrown together. Very unprofessional. You wil waste valuable time just trying to figure out what to do and who to believe as coaches vary in their treachings. I offered my recommendations for months and was ignored.

Honest & Helpful

I've been in the market since my university years in the mid 1980's. I have to say after trying and using various subscriptions for ideas Felix really knows his stuff as an ex-investment banker. I'm a Certified Public Accountant (USA) & Chartered Accountant (UK). I can read financials inside out, but investing is way more than that. It is geopolitical, innovation, internal management direction and other scenarios rolled into one and Felix Prehn exposes this in a somewhat easy to follow analysis. Goat Academy practices risk management. I cannot stand mentors perpetuating the asinine buy & holding your stocks no matter what philosophy (maybe, maybe in a new disruptor business like quantum computers as I had QBTS & RGTI 3 years as sat on my shares that cost me $0.65 or NFLX as I had since 2006). Disney after covid or AT&T cut dividend get out these stocks. In fact they are still not back at their price at covids end for DIS $230 or T pre dividend cut $33.

I started off watching Felix and…

I started off watching Felix and Friends goat academy videos over the course of a couple months and decided to give the program a try. I have been working with the mentors in the Goat Academy program for over a month now and have noticed great progress with refining my trading ideas and building consistency in the markets. If you are looking for amazing mentors who can provide valuable insight and help with navigating any market environment, I would give Goat Academy a try. Be sure to discuss your investment/trading goals with their representative so that they can best tailor your time in the program to your individual needs. Also shout out to Oliver who helped me get set up and connected with the program!
