Review Time
Very shady company who make a big deal about protecting reviewers, but don't take any action once authors breach their policies. An author posted a message threatening me on Goodreads when I gave a justified one star review on their book. Goodreads have a policy against this but they took no action against the author. Goodreads told me to repeatedly send in my complaint 4 times (without explaining why I had to do this, surely one submission is sufficient) but didn't bother to reply to any of them, just ignored me.
I have read reviews that are false; they bear little resemblance to the book I've been reading. I believe it's the result of some clever bot scheme. Here's the story of one of the reviewers who praised a pathetic, clumsily-written book:She posted 19 reviews today, Oct. 15th; She has posted 82 reviews in the past 5 days, which would average out to 5,986 books a year. She posted 209 reviews the day she joined Goodreads, and then took a year and 7 months off to catch up, then posted 108 books on one day, most of them not rated (?). What a story awaits the author who wants to pursue this reviewer!
Goodreads has failed to retract multiple Empty #ReviewBOMBS and False information that is masqueraded by "Librarian Edits" of corruption and illegal violation of Trade Laws on my account!'FLORIDA RETIREMENT IS MURDER' is being attacked by Illegal and Violation of Trade Secret slander assaults from paid Publishing Industry Executives responsible for the corruption of Ranking & Control #REVIEWBOMB data that is unethical competition and foolish childish bully tactics on a failed social media platform #Goodreads (An Amazon Company)A Disabled Gentleman with Multiple Amputations, Birth Defects and Deformities living an Honest life to the best of my abilities and serving my Fans with a High Quality Retail Product that is currently averaged at 4.4++ Global Market Rankings on all Retail Platforms. You can do better #Amazon
I can't claim any of my books because someone with the same name as me already has a GoodReads account, so all books published under that name are automatically added to her profile. Since GoodReads are apparently so stupid they have no process at all for two writers having the same name.
