The book I'm reading is queen of the world by Jennifer l.holm.It is about babymouse who has very bright imaginations and who she thinks is the queen of the world! Even though in reality everybody dislikes her and thinks she's a nerd. How rude! She Puts all of her bullies in her imagination to forget about how mean they are to her in reality . I gave this rating a 4 out of 5 stars because its a very short and funny comic book for younger children but it's also very nice to read if you are bored and want to read a little short cute book!
I owe it to an old friend who helped me bump into this magnificent social media for readers. Before this, I was more than lost and then I finally found a recommendation of books from the app which opened up a whole new world for me. I owed this to the little girl inside me who always wanted to read but couldn't find books of her interests or main characters she could relate to during confusing childhood times. I gave up reading and watched TV, which was also uninspiring but just the quick form of entertainment. Now, I am inspired to make life-altering decisions or simply be entertained in a more substantial way due to a couple of books. Highly recommend for any age unless there is a policy on an age limit. Now I'm also playing around with becoming a novice self-published author and goodreads has the option for people like me to showcase their work!
I am reading the negative reviews and cracking up a bit. Goodreads doesn't claim to offer reading books online for free. Also, I'm pretty sure that would be illegal. I personally love the app, it generates accurate suggestions based on the books I've read. However, I can tell there are some technical flaws on their end, the app crashes often and is slow in general. Either way, it's free so I can't complain much.
Caught between two devils. I thoroughly enjoyed Mark Creedon,s book on the escape of his family from Nazi occupied territories during the Second World War.I also learned a good deal more information about what happened to people in that area of the world I.e. Lithuania.. Larry Dooley
Goodreads does not give authors the option of deleting their own book. (We never delete a book). I think it should be the author's choice if they do not want their book to appear on their site any longer. I cannot believe authors do not have the option to take their own books down.
I have used Good Reads for three books with poor results. I offered free hard copies to those selected out of those who applied. I autographed the books, wrote a nice note to the recipient and mailed them priority mail. Out of the ten books I sent I got only one review, five stars - it's a great novel. Nothing from the others, not a word. Then, about two weeks later, the books I sent started appearing for sale on Amazon as "autographed copies." There are people in the Goodread's reader pool who only request free books so they can sell them. Some of these people had received thousands of free books and make a business of it. Goodreads needs to put controls in place and allow only those who post reviews to receive review copies.

He showed terriffic courage and determination to return home again and back to his Mother.This book kept me reading through the night unable to put it down !! the story kept me very interested at times it was nail biting, scary and frightening while also gripping,. I can't wait can't wait for the next book Ren'ee writes ,I'm sure the story of this very brave young man must be continued....EXCELLENT READING, THANKS FOR SUCH A GOOD BOOK TO READ .. Mel Comley what can l say you totally smashed it again with murder at the hotel. I don’t know how you do it but please don’t stop. Carnt wait for next one. I have recommended all your books to my friends who are all avid readers. Just loving this series.
