I was a first time buyer with some apprehension about the whole process. The GTH team, particularly Bill, were incredibly kind, helpful, and reassuring throughout. Bill also chased my solicitor for me when I needed more information on where we were in the process, and he kept me up to date any time there was new information to be shared.Without Bill and the GTH team I may have just curled into a ball and rocked until I couldn't rock anymore!
GTH recently sold a 3-bed house for us in Somerset and the service was excellent. Their pricing and marketing were spot on, generating 3 offers in quick succession following the marketing launch, and then managed the sale process smoothly with regular updates and exceeded their estimate on price which we were extremely happy with.
As buyers, we were totally disappointed in the level of service, contact and advice given,Over a 5 month, difficult chain, we had but 3 emails and very little else. From start to finish we were rarely considered, advised or helped. The agent was never “available”…the telephone rarely answered, all in all a total shambles.Go elsewhere !
We approached GTH to sell our house after a previously unsuccessful attempt. The local manager Ollie provided a very sensible valuation. Upon listing, the viewings were carried out professionally manner, eventually securing a buyer in what has been a challenging market. We became part of a chain of 13 houses and 14 vendors, ( a company record) a potential nightmare. However careful management of the chain by Ollie and another agent resulted in completion 4months after we found the buyer. I am certain that this was in no doubt part due to the strenuous efforts of GTH staff. I would have no hesitation in recommending them.
