They said send 7 pictures of each vehicle in order it get insurance i did then they said send picture of the vehicles enclosed. i did then they said carport enclosers are not good enough. They tried to make themselves look good by saying they will contact me. However, they never contacted me this company is something eles man. Terrible.

If I could give zero I would

If I could give zero I would. they will scam you and add the $0 hagerty club without telling you and no refunds allowed no matter what. they add on services after you ahve paid and tell you your rate went up. NOT worth it

I listed my classic car on their cars for sell site and then was informed (after the fact) that is was an auction......I promptly wanted to cancel the listing and it was impossible all it was able to provide was other for sell services for cars NO PLACE TO CANCEL MY LISTING.......UNETHICAL PRACTICES!!!!!

THIS COMPANY HAVE ALSO A CLASSIC CAR AUCTION THEY SELL CARS FOR MEMBERS , BUT I HAVE VERY BAD EXPERIENCE WITH THEM BISIDE THEY ARE VERY DUBM ALSO THEY ARE VERY RACICT WITH INTERACIAL PEOPLE THEY TRATTING PEOPLE BADLY ,I TRAYING TO POST A CLASSIC CAR THERE BUT I CAN'T BECAUSE THEY MAD IT IMPOSIBLE FOR ME IT TAKES WEEKS BEFORE MY CAR BE AT AUCTION THE TOLD ME YOU HAVE TO START ALL OVER AFTER I SPENT AT LEAST 12 HOURS POSTING THE CAR I GOT THE EMAILS TO PROVE IT , AND I KNOW ALL THIS WAS BECAUSE SOME OF THE PEOPLE THAT I TALKED TO WARE VERY STUPID AND RACIST LOW LIFE PEOPLE I WILL FIND THE CEO OF THIS COMPANY TO GET ALL THOSE PEOPLE OUT OF THE COMPANY I HAVE SOME NAMES , I ALSO GOING TO STAR A LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS COMPANY FOR DESCRIMINATION AGANST ME.

Marketing Misrepresentation/untrained staff/

I contacted Haggerty by phone to get a quote for a classic car on sept 5. My situation is a little complicated as the car is owned by an incorporated business which my sister and I are currently the only shareholders of but I am in process of becoming the sole shareholder. The car is considered an asset for investment purposes and will only be used for pleasure use in the summer months and is not used commercially at all. This was all communicated to the staff I spoke with and I was sent a quote.I then phoned back on Sept 15 and spoke with another representative as I had new information that the process of my becoming sole shareholder was going to take longer than expected and was given a client id # and told what I needed to provide/ and my sister to continue forward. Once again I was under the impression that the staff was well trained and helpful.That night I completed my application they had sent me, including the required payment information.Today I received a call to let me know they can not offer me insurance because of ON Rule: 1:14 the applicant is not both registered owner and actual owner of the described automobile, which I believe I am although it's complicated. That if I put the car in my name that they could offer me a policy. This would lead to additional costing of changing owners, replating, requiring re certification, additional accounting costs etc.I spoke to 2 different staff who never identified that the car being owned by a company which I am owner of would exclude me from haggerty insurance even though they were aware that was my situation. Quite the opposite, they let me know what would have to be provided and required in this situation and asked me to provide personal data. There website has an extensive list of exclusions for their policy's and of course "having your business own a collector car is not listed or anything deal with this point.We live in a digital age where data is power and money. I don't think it is acceptable that Haggerty had their staff ask me to provide personal information such as my credit card #, my sister's driver's license #, picture of my driveway, pictures of the car in storage, pictures of the car when they never had the intent to do business with me given the information I provided. That this was requested when they had the knowledge that I did not meet their criteria is highly suspect. These were all requested after I identified the ownership of the car to be an incorporated company that I have ownership in. I have lost 12 days and must now start from scratch, not to mention the utter disappointment as I thought I would have insurance by this weekend. Haggerty needs to be more transparent in the information provided on their website and by their frontline staff. Their frontline staff needs to be better trained on what is/is not the policy for their company and/or their underwriting staff needs to be trained better on company policy. Such a shame that this experience has had such a negative impact.I

Great classic car insurance …

Tried two other companies that really weren't interested on a Friday afternoon. Rang Hegerty, spoke to Tom and what a great experience it turned out to be. The product was better than expected, Tom was very knowledgeable and understood my requirements. Totally recommend.
