Brilliant product, smashing customer service. I've wanted one of these for a while but had to save up and was ecstatic when I saw they were having a winter sale. I'm so happy with it, I had been worried because I don't like ordering from abroad and it's really hard to find UK reviews but I couldn't be more impressed with the quality. I guess time will tell about the longevity, but first impressions are that it's really well made and the materials are sturdy enough (bearing in mind the price and the fact that it's designed to be portable.It IS pretty heavy though, the frame in particular, so I think it's a set up not too far a walk from the car :D I'm going to get a tree hanger for it I think and just use the frame at home. I have sensory processing disorder and I knew that I would like the movement of it and to relax in and I DO :) :) It's SO good, I've barely been out of it since I put it up!I managed to put it together easily on my own although I do need to stand on a small stool in order to hang the pod on the hook - I am 5'3". The frame and the ring were easily assembled and all fit together well, no manufacturing misalignments, everything just right. I contacted the company through Instagram mostly and they were great, thanks a lot guys. I'll be back to buy another one I think, so I can have one inside and one outside :)
Love the hangout pod, very comfortable, the mozzie net is great but would like to purchase the stand cover for bad weather, sadly this does not seem to be available in Australia yet. Maybe a special upgrade pod could be made available with side pockets to store books ect and have pillows that attach possibly with velcro.
Greatest Christmas present ever. My daughter granddaughter got me the set and we free-hung it from the verandah - all the family loved it and now want one. Haven't used it with the stand yet but love this spot in the shade hanging from the beams. Best spot to read my books
Update 10-17-22The people at hangout pod have reached out and provided another pod in much better shape. I can recommend this product now.Overall fit and finish is not good. Stand parts are either too tight, and holes do not line up or too loose and don't have proper fit. The round metal round tubing used to provide support to the bottom fabric seemed too large in diameter causing the zipper to break. Sent messages to manufacturer and have not received and response yet. I wanted to like this product but overall falls short.
Have had my Hangout Pid for a few months now and absolutely love it!!! Has been a great addition to several recent camping trips and have also used it at home in the backyard on for some relaxing weekends. Great price and design, easy to assemble and best of all, super comfortable!
We've had our Hangout Pod for a few months now and we love it. The quality seems pretty good & has held up well this far. Took a little getting used to setting up and taking down, but once we got the the hang of it, it's a breeze. We love to camp and travel here in the US, and this is always something we bring. Perfect for lounging out in nature. Would recommend!
Love the product. Bit of a faff if you’re dismantling after every use. It’s large to store if you are hoping to keep it out of the elements overnight. If you’re happy with a bit of inconvenience of 10 -15 minutes work when you want to use the it’s worth the money. Very comfortable and my 3 year old loves chilling out on there with us.
Product delivered with holes in the fabric and then replacement sent with significant damage to the rods and paintwork. Supplier not looking after product. Very heavy item to store, un box and re-package so we can’t bring ourselves to return it all for a third time. I would avoid as the quality does not match the price.
