They have been fantastic from start to finish. Particular thanks to Daryl who made the process smooth sailing, with updates at every point. Information was delivered in a methodical order and we were involved at every stage. We have learned a lot that will serve us well in our investment journey.
I invested in an off-plan property Gibson Quay through Hartford Capital and unfortunately, the development later entered administration. At no point since then have I received an apology, or any meaningful support regarding my financial loss.
Despite repeated communication, I’ve been met with defensiveness and, more recently, with legal threats — including being falsely accused of posting a separate Trustpilot review that I did not write. No formal complaint was issued to me, no process was followed, and no apology has been given for the accusation. It has added significant stress to an already damaging situation.
The sale was presented in a way that strongly implied security and legal oversight. However, I now realize the deposit I paid was never protected. Like many other first-time or passive investors, I was not fully aware of the risks of unprotected deposits or the potential consequences if a developer becomes insolvent — something I now believe should be a basic part of agent disclosures. In my view, these deals are marketed with more focus on the upside than the risks.
To date, there has been no recovery of funds and no progress communicated. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to seek truly independent legal advice before proceeding with any off-plan investment promoted by this company, and to question whether proper protections (such as deposit escrow) are in place.

I initially consulted with several brokers since I had never used one before, and ultimately chose the service due to their non-pushy approach. I visited their office to verify their legitimacy and met with a representative about four months ago at their location. The staff was impressive, and I felt reassured. I wanted to invest differently this time, as I already owned four properties purchased through agents. This time, I opted for an off-plan investment, set to complete in April 2027. I have confidence that this area will become a prime investment, similar to Salford Quays. Trust was a concern for me, but after sitting down with the representative to discuss details, I felt comfortable with my decision. He was transparent about the investment, and when I expressed my expectations, he returned with some financial incentives that seemed too good to be true, promising they would be honored upon contract exchange. I decided to trust him and paid the full deposit. I'm glad I did, as he fulfilled his promise shortly after the contract exchange. Although there's still over a year until completion, I feel secure in my investment. Thank you for your reliability; it's refreshing to work with someone who keeps their word.
